Almost had a 1964 Ford Galaxy 500XL in i964, there was one for sale by owner at a local gas station. It was black with a red interior, also a factory 427 425hp R car, beautiful car and rare. No bubble hood on that one though, but if I had got it there would probably have been one on it, always liked the looks of them.

That’s a rare car these days. The Good Guys car show comes through every year in my area. There’s a local 64 Galaxy 500XL 427 4-Speed black on black perfection, that shows every year. It’s local to me and I’ve only seen it twice and only at that car show. I haven’t seen it in about 4 years. Not sure if it’s sold or hidden away somewhere. I lost so many photos with phone switches over the years, otherwise I’d post some up. Nicest one I’ve ever seen. An original black on black 427 4-speed car is as rare as it gets. This one detailed to the 9’s.

Last one I saw was at the Strausstown PA car show, and that was quite awhile ago, it was black, but I don't remember the interior color, I don't remember the exact millage, but it was super low, like in the teens. The guy that had it was the original owner, he said he had sold it and told the new owner that if he ever decided to get rid of it that he should contact him first. Apparently the new owner drove it very sparingly and stored it for quite awhile, then decided to sell it and did contact the original owner who now had the finances to buy it back. A buddy of his, who was a Ford mechanic, went over the carbs and got it road worthy for the fee of being able to take it for a ride on occasion, that car looked like a brand new car and was all original, amazing what is out there.

A buddy of mine recently did the paint and body on this ‘69 Roadrunner, 440-6.

My dad had one of these when I was young, it was 2wd. My brothers first truck was one of these, 4wd. They were both baby blue and both pieces of junk :D

You do know that hood is fiberglass and black from the factory right? Those who paint those hoods body color have lost their mind.

I don’t know...he might be a pretty good fabricator in case you need something welded on your Tacoma.

I love the 1970 Charger rear fascia. The 1968-1969 with the round lights is a close second. Or wait, is it the other way around which one I like best. Both designs are killer and I’ve always been torn between the two. If I were in the market for that gen Charger I’d need an intervention to get me to make up my mind. That body style looks right at home with a narrowed rear end and big meats tucked under.

I believe round tails were 1968 but they changed for 1969.

This one is a 1969, 1970 has a different front clip and doors with a scoop. The rear tires are not quite as wide as you think cause the pic is a bit deceiving as the front drivers side tire looks like its part of the passenger rear tire.
