I bought my FJ wheels at a local dealer via their online arm (saved a ton over parts counter retail) and I grabbed a set of re-pop center caps off eBay for cheap. The FJ caps are also the same caps from the older T100, 4Runner, pickup, 1G Tacoma and are half the cost as the ones advertised as FJ.

I painted mine silver after the fact.

Hey guys sorry for the stupid questions in advance. I want to get some steel wheels for my 2020 Sport 4x4 and I'm having trouble find them online. I have the stock tires in 265/65/17 that I pulled off to replace with K02s and now I want to put some steelies in the stock ones. I called America's tire and Big O but they both don't carry anything the correct size. Are wheels in 7.5jx17 ET30 just a weird size? Any advice on where to buy some online?

edit: I think these would fit okay, opinions on these? https://www.ebay.com/itm/17-Inch-6-...coma-4Runner-Fj-Cruiser-WE40596T/202937846448

Those should work. Pretty much identical to what I just bought. Wish I had seen this first since I paid $111 each

So on the pro comp 97 or crager soft 8 16x8 with -12 offset, is a spacer needed?

Gonna run 265\75 right now but going up to 285\75 when these wear out.

Thanks so much to everyone on the forum, was very helpful.

After a lot of reading I bought a set of 16x7 steelies from Road Ready Wheels for $320 with free shipping. These are essentially replicas of the stock steel spare but without the elongated cutout at the valve. No spacing or anything like that needed.

After A LOT of consternation, I put some 265/75/16 KO2's on them. They're great. Aired at 35 psi, no rubbing, not noticeably louder or stiffer that the stock tires in my opinion. Maybe I'd go a 255 next time if I could, like that skinnier look.

Of course the lug-nuts Pep-Boys put on are goofy, need to get some new ones

The TPMS out of a 2013 Corolla (42607-06012) fit but isn't being picked up by the truck, still trying to figure out if there's a way for that to work. Got new fit-kits from Toyota (04423-0E010).

I did buy the steel center-caps from the FJ, but Pep Boys told me they don't fit to the rims. Does the FJ steelie have a notch for the center caps to clip into? I'd like to get them to fit, if not I'll do this dust-cap mod.

Finally got mine done yesterday. Not sure about the lugs DT put on. Part of me likes the contrast. Part of me thinks all black would look better. Where are you buying black lugs? Anyone with a link to share?

@Discount Tire A thanks to Vito in Green Acres, FL and Jordon in Normal, IL for the guidance on setup. Very patient and helpful.

    A couple of side views.

Close up of the wheels and lugs.

I've had stock 16" wheels on here since October. No complaints. I too would like to ditch the stock lug nuts and go with black.

So I’m finally getting ready to put my 17 inch steelies on my truck and was wondering what spacers I should run with these fj steelies?

I have a 3 inch Dobinson’s lift arriving any day, along with jba UCA’s, and I plan on running 285/75r17 yokohama geo mt3’s.

I was thinking about running somewhere between a .75 and 1.25 inch spacer. Any thoughts or personal experience with a similar setup would be greatly appreciated!

I put these steel wheels on my 5 lug, found some 235/75/15 all terrains tires at walmart, that's made in USA, for $65.

Has anyone tried the center caps from the 16" 5-spoke Tacoma wheels on the 17" FJ Cruiser wheels? The middle of the wheels and the clips on the backs of the caps all look similar.
