What channel are you watching? Most weather girls I've seen are pretty attractive IMO. Not like in Mexico of course.....

Alright guys more annoying questions from me!

Will running a 255/85R16 get me better gas mileage than a 265/75R16, or does it come down to the individual tire?

I really like mud and want MTs, but have a line on great priced Cooper ST Maxxs in 255. How do yall feel about the ST Maxxs vs Wildpeak MTs for a daily driven but weekend mudder?

Lastly, I do not have a rear locker. Would that do me better with not getting stuck than MTs?

255/85 is most likely going to be a bit heavier. You're side wall is about an inch taller x2 but the difference in width is negligible. Plus your going to a taller tire so I'd say the 265/75 will get better gas milage in the same brand / tread tire. Can't comment on the ST Maxxs or the MT's for that matter but I really like my Wildpeak AT3W. Of course I don't take mine offroad either. I used to offroad with a previous truck so I can tell you both locker and good tread tires are important. But I think a locker will get you unstuck more so than tires.

Hmm good point. I was hoping the reduction in width would make up for the increased height but you're right. I like my AT3Ws a lot but I am dying for 33s and something more mud oriented.

At this point I'm basically debating the Coopers or Wildpeak MTs, both in 255

Edit: Even with pretty mild driving I never get over 16mpg in my 05 ACLB 6speed... I dont know if my wallet will forgive me for going with a more aggressive tire lol

Edit #2 Alright so here's my final (Hopefully) question.

Daily driver, lots of highway miles. But I love mud and I think I go relatively hard when off road

Option 1: Great deal on used ST MAXXes in 255

Option 2: New Wildpeak MTs in 255

I doubt the gas mileage between the 2 of them at the same size is anything more than negligible, go with the cheaper option I say

It's hard to say, the Falkens would be about $750 for 4, but the Coopers are $850/9 for 5. So basically the same price. My ego says "Go with the true MTs" but I know Coopers are highly regarded. I've also heard they pull to the right a lot.

@Ranger357 you seem to know a lot about tires, your thoughts?

    Inches do matter! Right?

2" or 10" I haven't fallen out of bed in years. So I would say its a good kickstand.

Text from my manager last night, 0 appointments today. Told me to come in an hour later (I'm the first one there at 6AM).
We will probably move cars around then go home?

Morning. Work delayed opening until 9. Hmm, it’s about an hour ride normally. I’ll have to clean the driveway soon to get ready to go to work. Then drive back home tonight to clean up what fell after I left. Maybe I should just take a day and wait until the storm ends and the go out to clean only once.
