I'll be more than happy to oblige! Gotta try and stop by Best Buy or something to get a dash cam for the drive back.

I've packed my bag already, all the paperwork required, phone charger and mount for hands free, spare clothes just in case.

Stop by and install my front and rear cams for me as well on your way though, eh? I bought the damned things like a month ago and they're still sitting on my kitchen table.
Unless @Tacoma Mike wants to come up and do it!? :boink:

What model did you get? I'm planning to get the blackvue setup at some point. For this trip I'll probably just get a cheaper stick to the windshield style for this trip, you can have fun pulling yourself interior apart

    Big Johnny @Taco critter

While we're waiting on Mark @Sig45 to work through his custom logarithm long hand....pencil and paper....I'll say the Baywatch Buggy looks steller. That side exit turned out sweet too. Did I miss some up close and underneath shots somewhere?

I need to modify the algorithm again to account for it being a 1st Gen. Completely different sent of variables.

Got the 'apeman' front and rear facing with 'hardwire kit' off Amazon (didn't want to plug into the center console, kit lets you plug into the diagnostic port I guess so it has power in parking lots for monitoring). Had rave reviews and one of the pilots has it and said it works fine. Regardless, it'll be better than nothing.

Yeah. I keep thinking I'm showing my age with my lack of interest in cameras. I mean, I dig the backup camera for obvious reasons, and when towing I can see the benefit of anytime rearview i suppose (i tow only occasionally). But front view? To re-watch the accident I might have someday? Am I missing something? (I often am)

My aftermarket stereo allows for front and rear anytime, but of course the '13 would require some investment to take advantage of it. Even the rearview is in the mirror, not the dash....

If it were cheap and easy, I might bite on it.

The reason I want one is for the "he said/she said" that can go on after a traffic accident. It's not there for me to rewatch, it's there for me to provide solid evidence that I was either at fault or not. I have no problem or qualms about owning up to my mistakes, so if it's a very low speed bump and they claim severe whiplash, I can provide evidence to the contrary.
