My neighbor's mail box and lantern just got taken out by some one who can't drive in the snow.

 

Bout 4 inches here so far, two since my last shovel trip..

 

I'd say we got about the same here, but it's putting it down hard

 

The puppy is enjoying his first snow, rolling in it like a pig in mud

 

Dude, porch railing matches the truck! FTW

 

This 2nd Gen Tundy took a left turn too sharply near my house and hopped the curb...

 

Snow driving is simple if you understand momentum.

Brake gently, accelerate gently, and for fucks sake, turn slowly.

 

I do wish our Tacos had the heat grid on the windshield like the 4runners have. 4runners got the cold weather prep going on with all the defrosting grids all around and the manual t case.

 

Whelp, the snowmobiles are out. That's all I'm going to hear for the next 6 hours.

Iv had a couple beer and now the wifey wants to take the jk out and play in the snow .... :-/

 

So tired of clearing off snow and shoveling. Up to around 8-9" now. Heavy wet packed snow.

 

It's powder here.

 

Perfect chance to drive around with a tow strap. Pull out a stuck car for half the price of a tow truck

 

I always use the winch, more control over the other idiot.

 

I'm usually the one pulling everyone's vehicles out of snow banks or getting unstuck, helped up hills, etc. I use recovery straps and my 12.5k lb winch. People try to give me money but I tell them to keep it and pay it forward.

I'm always changing flats or plugging tires (I carry a portable compressor, plug kit, tools, etc...) jump starting, fixing cars that are broke down.

 

In the 80's I pulled a car load of drunks out of a ditch for $10. While I was still hooked up one said that they would give me another 10 to pull them to the top of the hill. When I unhooked they drove away. There was a pay phone in the parking lot and a call to the police cost them more than the $10 they screwed me out of. I waved as I drove past them pulled over.

 

I work in Pittsburgh and live in Indiana county. The only road that had more than one lane somewhat clear was the parkway.

 

I get off work at 1:30am. I hope they don't plow anything from 7pm on I plan on bypassing the Turnpike and taking all 2 lane roads home.
