I just bought a 2017 TRD sport last week and absolutely love the truck. It was a repairable hit in the rear and fixed. They changed out the tailgate but didn't hook up the camera. I have a new harness on order for it. Could this affect my problems with the radio? I am getting the no Mic hooked up, and can't connect through bluetooth. I also don't have any radio controls on the steering wheel, but the controls on the right side of the steering wheel work as they should. It has the fancy stock entune touch screen stereo in it. I did disconnect the battery for about an hour and it didn't change anything. I also went in and removed all prior data on it and did the soft restart on it and nothing has changed. Any ideas for me to try?

    Thanks

Check fuses, sounds like a module is down.

Was the truck totaled out? Meaning, did it undergo major repairs, like sperating frame and body, or reinstalling major wiring harnesses?
If so, there's no telling really, you'll just have to go through it all, inspecting every connection and centimeter of wiring.
Sorry, I'm not much help, good luck.

The spiral cable that controls the left side steering buttons goes directly to the radio via a white 28 pin connector. The microphone (amplifier) also uses the same 28 pin connector. And looks like the input to tell the radio you're in reverse also uses the same 28 pin connector. Might want to check that it's plugged in.

Not being a dick. Was just updating my post as I reviewed the diagram.

Thanks for the schematics, this will help for sure. I'll pop out the head unit hopefully tonight and check that everything is plugged in all the way and then run down stream from there and check all the harness.

Pulled it out last night and the previous owner had hacked apart the existing harness and then repaired it, probably had an aftermarket head unit in and changed it back to the stock one. Frustrating to say the least. I will be spending some time with the meter tonight, and probably with google looking for a new harness.
