Meet Layla, all white with one blue eye and one brown. For you Boxer guys out there, she can see fine and has good hearing as best I can tell. She MAY have some unilateral hearing loss just from me observing though. I have had her for less than 24 hours and she has already learned to sit, heal, stay down, etc. She is VERY smart, well behaved, LOYAL to me already. This should be the start to a lot of fun! Besides, every truck owner should have a dog! :headbang:

Haha, mine is sleeping on her pillow that she has taken to.... dreaming I guess. Whatever she is dreaming about it must be intense! I'm about to wake her goofy @ss up so she will go do her business and let me sleep for a bit. (She isn't house broken yet, but in 24 hours she has made some major improvements.)

Thats was I was told by one of my buddies. I try to stick to it unless she starts sniffing then I quickly make her sit at the door while I get her leash, take her out, tell her to "do your business". If she does, she gets praise and a treat. She seems to be picking up quickly. Thanks for the advice, good lookin dog you got there.

She's beautiful Matt, congrats! Our last Boxer was white but he's been gone for almost 10 years. This is River, he turns 12 weeks old tomorrow, we've had him for 3. I bet he and Layla would wreak some havoc together if given the chance.:)

What a beautiful little girl you got there. The two different eye colors are truely unique and make her that much more special. I have a boxer mix named Layla as well and cannot wait to get another one. Congrats on your new dog, you really got a keeper!

Boxers are absolutely amazing animals but they're a lot of work. Exercise her, play a lot, give her tons of attention, etc. and she'll be the best pet you've ever had! :)

My brother's boxer was a lovable nightmare until we realized how he learns. Like most, he's motivated by food. The big surprise was that the most effective punishment is to ignore him for an hour or so.

Best dog in the world these days. :)

Here's the obligatory pic of me and Blaze:

i'm diggin' all this boxer love!! here's a picture of my white and fawn. white ones name is Romeo. he has the one blue eye as well, but he is very much deaf. he was a rescue pup, which i highly recommend for anyone if its practical. the fawn is Lucy and is such a doll. they get along great and wrestle to no end. and of course the wife, who is also awesome.
