Oh they do! Their buddy gets there at the right time, sells on GunBroker and they split the profits. During the 08 panic, my buddy was going online to Walmart site, their site showed individual store inventory,,, even when it was just getting off the truck. So he would show up and the counter jockey would claim they were out "inventory must be wrong". After a few wasted trips, My buddy got hip to it, and would tell them to go get the store manager, and show them on his phone. The manger would often go check the back room and find the ammo. I haven't checked in years, but shortly after that, their site wouldn't show inventory.

 

So between Wally World,cabelas and the LGS I cleaned up....

I just picked up 2 boxes of .380 and 2 boxes of 9mm Silvertip at RK.

I could care less about the Silvertip, but a bird in hand...

Ordered in July, finally shipping this week. Seekins upper to complete my mutt build. Was told they still have hundreds on backorder. Production is at their highest ever but still trying to catch up. Also adding a new shop so machined had to be moved. Worth the wait.

 

I have an ADM billet upper lower set on my 6.5 Grendel pistol. Love billet stuff

 

It wasn't pre-shortage price, but not a bad price. The story.... Just happened to stop by Cabela's. Happened to have these. Only allowed one. Bought it, and left. Sitting in my truck, Hmmm, I have a different hat, different coat, and a different mask. Ok, I'll go buy another. Mind you, they have two guys watching the ammo. So I go in, bought a second and all is good. Tomorrow I might try it again
