Anyone using one of the cheap-er digital inflators from Amazon? Like this style where you can use a quick connect with it? Or have a recommendation for one that isn't >$100?

I was airing up some motorcycle tires today and realized how less-than-ideal my set up is. Right angle adapter, clip on analog gauge w/ an inflation pass through, then using one of the double sided inflators into that. Kind of annoying to use.

    What hasn't been modified?
I have the jaco and just got another version from Amazon’s twss.
My complaint with the jaco is the button has gotten super hard to push and the valve leaks

I’ve gone through three cheaper gauges like that, all different brands, all failed for different reasons. All around the $35 mark. I now have a powertank inflator that’s around $80 and let me tell you, it is well worth the money.

I was looking at that one, their rotating valve seemed kind of novel

That one looks the business. I like that the valve is re-buildable, too. That might be the ticket, thanks for sharing

They’re a quality American business and really care about preserving land and the wheeling/camping scene. Top notch customer service too. 10/10 would recommend.

I have a Power Tank inflator TIG -8200 that i bought for $73 a few years back. Super nice quality tool.
Would buy another in a heartbeat. Makes inflating tires a breeze.

Electrical work I would assume. The knockouts in junctions boxes and panels come to mind when i look at those...

cant go wrong with the HF ones. I’ve got a 3 ton Pittsburg and a 4 ton Daytona. Next purchase will probably be a long reach or aluminum one. They are cheap enough if you get them with a coupon.

I have the Astro gauge but I didn't like the clip on chuck that it came with it so I got a different chuck from Amazon.

Pay attention to the max lift height in the specs. On some jacks (low profile) you'll use half their travel before you even contact the bottom of the truck and then you'll only be able to raise the truck a few inches.

Yes, but if your truck is lifted as high as it is supposed to be you shouldn't even need a jack.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Yeah man, your truck should be lifted high enough where your wheels can just pop off with magic.

I only have 3/4 of my garage available. I have a cast clawfoot tub and tile, mortar, and fixtures for a bathroom taking up the other side at the moment.
