That snow is rough on blinds, I lost one a couple years ago that collapsed and tore. I forgot to take it down before the snow came.

Change of plans. I’m going to do my typical antler mounts so that I can say that I mounted them and they will match the others I have. Going out of town so it will have to start after Christmas but got the skull caps cleaned up

Not making any judgement,, but i see a lot of harvested deer in the S.E loaded or dragged out without being "Gutted" isn't a lot easier to gut um where you drop um? again not making any judgement, just curious.

We used to gut them where we found them. Then we built a skinning rack to hang them with a roof over it and gut them over a bucket and take the remains to a designated area

Anyone seen the ads for Rhinoblinds? The one that’s basically mesh and you can see out but can’t see in?

That's a lot cheaper than the Primo's ones.

Usually drop them or have a short distance to pull. Not leaving guts all over the place or carting them out separate. Haul them to the processor and for a small fee, they'll do everything.

Also, if we had a few together we'd drive them to the skinning shed. Usually don't break that out and deal w/ it all unless there's more than one. Just not worth it.

oh...and also, our processor closes 2 hours after sunset. we can legally hunt for a full hour after sunset. hunt the full hour, plus add tracking if needed AND driving 20 mins to the processor doesn't leave much time to do much else.
