Been around here for a while, but the info in different threads is endless...plus with the switch to vF tuner, things are always changing... I still have some questions.

Does the "2.0 final" from the tune pack have gear lock?

Does ECT mode work in conjunction with the tunes from the tune pack, or does it use a stock ECT mapping?

I was under the impression 2.0 final got released before the switch to vF tuner. I guess not. What is the official name of the latest 2.0 tune that is released?

vF does cool things, esp with a few edits.

Right on. First just trying to make sure I understand all that the official tunes offer. The ability to edit now is gonna take the platform far. There are some smart folks in here working together.

Can you comment on how ECT works with a tune?

Sorry, but I can't. I know the D versus ECT maps can be edited. I'm a rower though.

    Nice.

I was just wondering about 2.0 from the tune pack, if ECT was a stock map or a tuned map...if someone could answer that. I'm basically an ask-hole by this point on the topic of tunes.

Before I go, here's one for you Tony.

ECT works in the Base tune. I believe it will be an option to select the Perf tune in the Final options.

I'm not sure what you currently have. I know it was an MT but thought you were making a change.

I mentioned my MT in the way that I only have passing AT knowledge.

No need to explain. It was a joke, dude. Lol. The internet is hard...just can't get across my sense of humor.

I love MTs. And you're right, I've had the MT for a year now. It will soon be replaced with an AT, but I'll spare the long explanation. Been doing homework on AT stuff, so I removed some things from my info to avoid confusion.

You still know more about the AT tunes than I do at this point.

I got busy with work for awhile. I was running the premium OV tune file for 31 forever. Just updated my ECU to 33 for the 2019 A/T and didn't see a M+W for it. I am happy to donate for all the work yall are doing if someone will steer me in the right direction.

Moose may even cut you a deal because both your names are the same.

In my opinion, I would create a M+W tune from a 2.0 tune found in the tune pack. The tune pack is in work right now so that isn't currently possible. It is possible, however, to create a somewhat similar version from the stock map provided in the install location for VF.

I'm so far behind with what's going on. I have to say after flashing back to stock and then flashing the update the truck actually drives amazing. I have some hardware updates (Borla exhaust, K&N cai) that help as well. If there are no builds for 2019 A/T I have the patience to wait for them. I appreciate all that yall put into this community.
    Much respect!

Does OBD fusion show what the actual PID # is?

Also none of these PIDs are in Toyota's docs, which is weird

I'll dig into it and see what I can find.
These particular PIDs are only available if you purchase the Toyota pack, so Toyota is just hiding them. Probably for the reason I want them :D

The lock control SW is the one I'm guessing you need? I requested the #s from the software developer. Locker anytime would be a Christmas miracle for this guy!

So speaking of electronic LSD - I am running VF Tune w stock 91 Octane tune. Today I hit black ice, truck went a bit sideways, and I never saw the electronic LSD nor traction control warning lights flash. Does the VF Tune after either of these nanny tech programs?
