Amazon reviews for the Curt are all bagging on it for the oversize plate mounting holes as well. The Draw-tite has better reviews, but is only $5 cheaper. I'm at least going to give the DIY path a shot before dropping that coin on such a simple hunk of metal.

 

WTB drywall lift before I go to HF for one.

Home depot is all rented out and for the cost of a week rental I can own yet another tool i will only use once

Hey guys! I am doing VfTune's in Denver (and the foothills and/or CO springs- I will travel to you if you are outside Denver but prefer if you can come to me). I have all the necessary hardware etc and can get you tuned up within 5-20 min depending on if you have the most recent ECU for your truck's year. If you ever change gears, tires, battery etc. or even just want to try another tune I am happy to do it free whenever after that as many times as you'd like. I cut the holes larger and used hose clamps around the tube fuck it is gonna rust

I cut some rubberr strips and wrapped the tube with it then used hose clamps. Had to increase the holes on the plate too.
