Thought so. So I should increase at the lower, should I also decrease at the higher temps.

I think it really depends how people are measuring. At the outlet I measure a steady 14.7. At the terminals it matches pretty close to that. On the ECU logger it's 14.45ish.

I have made numerous changes to most of the tables. I have also made many axis changes. Right now, I am running everything at stock settings except Base Phase Duty. This seems to be the only table that needs to be modified to achieve my desired alternator output. YMMV

I am probably not the only one to do it that way.

Like most, I will have to monitor my alternator output throughout the four seasons and I may have to make some small tweaks. It gets into the 30's during the winter and 110+ during the summer here. Which is very different than what many of you see.

That's the methodology I'm using right now too on 04A61. As I understand it, this table is based on engine coolant temperature and is in degrees C. So you should be able to assess 30-120 all year round. I hope to never assess the extremes.

Same here. Thats the only thing I had to modify.

From the looks of it, the other tables look to just define/map what the corresponding decimal values are to a specific alternator phase %.
Probably dont want to edit those. Then again, I would rather wait for OVTune before touching them.

I borrowed this from another user. So far I ran the truck after a decent drive and then stopped. While in idle it was charging at 14.45 exactly with the multimeter at the battery. During my drive it jumped to a max of 14.7

    Howdy y'all,
If you run an Odyssey Extreme 34R-1500 battery here is the temp compensation table from Odyssey.
I will be fine-tuning to try and match this as much as possible.

Sorry for being out for a while! Work has been nuts for the last few months.

I also just reached out to Toyota to see if I can get in touch with an engineer that might be able to give us some more info that could help us dial this in.

Interesting. If true that our alternator Max’s out at 14.8v, then we are undercharging at any temp below 65 deg F.
