A little something every chance we get.
That looks darn nice. Years back when it WAS the Garage Mahal, I actually used leftover insulation from the attic, and walled all three walls with pegboard as wall board. Wall where those crates went will be my crowning achievement in getting this back together. I really built the table saw station as an excuse for the little refrigerator!

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Good morning everyone. No excuse for Makers Mark and rolling around outside here. Freezing this AM, and harder freeze tomorrow, but not a bit of "weather" to go with it. In fact, I got an "energy report" from my thermostat in the house this morn, and we used the heat for 8 hours less in November than a year ago. That sounds great until I read that we used AC 36 hours MORE! Glad I have some solar to soften the bill!

    Smells like snow.
Supposed to start in an hour or so.
I have 1 personal day off at work left this year, so tomorrow looks like a good day to burn it and do snow removal at my place.

Good morning, all! I'm guessing we got about 18" so far. I plowed last night about 9:30 but it was blowing so hard I had a tough time seeing the driveway - will head out again in about an hour. At least the wind has slowed down and the temp is up to 26F. Pics later!

Well might as well get to it.
Only 8" here in the valley. There's just a light flurry now.20201217_062027.jpg 20201217_062102.jpg
And yes, that is an official snow measuring device. It's calibrated yearly:)
Mark it's amazing how elevation and few miles make such a difference.

Morning everyone. I was watching that storm head your way. We got a couple inches of rain and some heavy winds out of it. That kinda snow around here would cripple our area. Most folks around here aren't prepared for anything like that. Good luck and stay warm and dry.

That 5 horse blower looks ENTIRELY too familiar - had a ceremony and gave mine away when I left Casper! average wind speed there is about 35 mph - so you just aim the discharge straight up........ Sad when you have to weld hardface "dots" on the bottom of the edge to make it last the winter.

Sounds like fun Mark! You too Harry! I'm so jealous of the toys - it's 25* (DOWN from 26* when I got up), but there is nothing but cold, still air to play with. And I don't even have a coat for that anymore! Or, maybe I do.... Sure have no inclination to get it out!

Good Morning everyone. At least the greenhouse and shed are at their 46*-50* window! Stay safe in those storms.

Finished up about an hour ago - cleared our house and Lynn's mom's. The pups enjoyed playing in the snow.

This Cub Cadet Challenger 750 is a real beast and handled the snow with ease. Our driveway is about 750 ft with two curves and a steep slope in the middle. The Cub has both 2WD and 4WD and you can lock either/both front and rear axels. I've had it three years now and this was its hardest workout. And, when I bought it Cub offered 36 months free financing so I paid it off last week.

Heading out to get a Covid test this afternoon - want to confirm we are clear after flying to/from Florida last week. Both of us feel great so we're not expecting positive results.

    Be safe out there.

    Like your pix.

We got about 3' one time a few years ago. Sure wouldn't mind doing it again. My gauge says we have gotten less than 10" of moisture this year.

Morning folks. Had a bad week last week so took a break. Wife ended up in the hospital for 3 1/2 days after she passed out twice. Checked for Covid twice and checked negative. Problem ended up being her blood pressure was fluctuating too much. Then the computer took a shit and I had to get a new one that I'm still moving files around and deleting old ones. So between the hospital and the computer plus doctor appointments and pharmacy runs it's :annoyed: been hectic. Fortunately the wife is okay soooo things were back to normal until the snow came. We only got about 3 to 4 inches.

Welcome to the new folks. Pull up a rocker and enjoy.
Have a good day and be safe.

Bright and clear mid 50’s. Supposed to get into low 70’s today. I think I’ll clean the spa so it’s nice and warm for this evening.

Sure wish it would rain. I like sitting in the spa in the rain.

Lived where it snowed at one time. I have no idea what the USAF was thinking sending a California beach kid ti the snow right after my trip to the jungle. But hey they redeemed themselves by then sending me to Florida. In time for spring break no less.
