The fact that it has the dark interior gives away the fact that it's a sport right? No way to tell if it has KDSS unless you climb under it.

Not the interior. My GX is a non-sport with dark interior. The dark woodgrain on the steering wheel and around the shifter is your giveaway

My bad. That's what I meant. Thanks. Researching these things is time consuming but I'm slowly picking things up. It sucks that so many of them shipped from the factory with navigation.

Yes, ethanol free to boot. I have a company gas card, so $$ makes no difference to me. As has been stated, the vvt-i will retard the timing and you will lose horsepower if you don't use premium. I don't feel like the power is "needed", but why not if you can afford it?

Only been actually driving the GX since Monday but already have small things to do and install. Kinda hard after work since it's dark when I get home. Hope to tackle a few things this Sunday. Like replace some door cladding clips, install the dash cam, replace some missing clips for the engine cover pieces, etc.
Also Kyle at Treaty Oak says my lift is getting shipped out this week or next so that's good. Have the SPC UCAs ready to go. Just ordered new LCAs, front sway bar relocate kit and longer rear sway bar links (2nd gen 4Runner).
And have one of our detail guys cleaning it up today. Was already pretty clean for the year and mileage but those guys are much better at that thing than I am.

Who else has the "sticky" gauge cluster needles where sometimes when you crank over the truck the needles stay "stuck" and don't move? For mine, its either the tach gauge, speedo gauge, or both at the same time. SUPER annoying. Usually happens to me after the truck is warm and then I go to crank it over again.

You can take a plastic trim took and gently pry upwards on the needle, be careful not to pop it off, see if that helps.

Recent pix of the GX. All it has for now is Prinsu rack and CBI sliders. Waiting on the lift. Went with King’s front/rear and Dobinson’s coils. The lead time on King’s is ridiculous but I got a really good deal on them from @ShowstoppersUSA so I can’t complain. Still deciding on what UCA’s I want to run. I’m currently running ADS shocks and Camburg UCA’s on my Taco. Maybe go with Camburg again. As for wheels/tires there’s a set I’ve been eyeing but only time will tell.

Going to mess with it and see what’s up. Been a bugger since I bought the truck but for some reason it’s NOW making me annoyed.

I've got some backlights out on my cluster, so I'll have to solder in some new led's to fix that problem.

How's your hunt for rock sliders going?:rofl:

I have no use for KDSS. Just over complicates things. But then again, I'm actually going to lift it.
