Not really a worthwhile feature set on a 1st gen though. Tiny elocker diff and shocks that are beyond dead at this age haha

it is a TRD, it’s also supercharged with a 7th injector kit amongst other things, and I replaced the frame in may 2019. Had 171k when I sold it

Long shot here - but does anyone happen to know the exhaust gasket size for 3.4 JBA headers between the driver side header and crossover pipe? I tried calling JBA and they said they dont have the PN listed and told me to just take the old one to the parts store... but I'd like to have the new gasket in hand before tearing into it

No luck with Summit either. Looks like I'll just have to pull the old one and hope I can find a replacement locally.

I'm not familiar with the headers but are they a donut gasket, two bolt flanger, three bolt flange. You can measure those externally if needed

And here I am still with my xtra cab and an 11 month old lol. We use my wife's Rav4 for trips with the baby. If I have to take her somewhere in my truck then I put her car seat up front with the airbag turned off, but that's a rare occasion.

When she was a newborn - 6mo old her car seat actually fit in the back seat of the xtra cab, but the toddler car seats are way too big for that.

So a toddler seat won't fit in the back of an extra cab with the seat moved up all the way? Cause I wanna take my toddler wheeling when he's old enough.

I'm sure some of them will, they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes really. The one my wife got won't, but it does fit in the front seat just fine. I didn't realize it before but xtra cab front passenger seats actually have the baby seat latch hooks in them specifically for car seats, which is also why we have the airbag off switch and double cabs don't.

I'm low key looking around for a smaller toddler seat that might fit in the back with the seat all the way up, I'm just not that hopeful because that was the only way we could get the infant seat to fit and it was considerably smaller

yeah the forward facing toddler seats are much easier, it's the rear facing ones that they use when they are still under 2 years old that are difficult. I have to put her rear facing seat up front because it's too big, but her rear facing infant seat fit in the back with the pass seat all the way forward

The real problem is that I can't have both her and my wife in the truck at the same time with the baby seat up front, my wife is small but even a small adult in the back of an xtra cab is really uncomfortable. For that reason I most likely will get another truck someday in the future, so we can all do trips together.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Bought my truck when my youngest was 4 years old. They grew up riding in the truck. Toddler seats all the way to when they moved out. They never complained (most likely because they knew I wouldn't care if they did).

Must not have been to traumatic for them... My oldest 6'2" has a 2nd Gen Tacoma. My youngest 6'2" has a 1st gen Tacoma. My middle son is a midget 5'6"... but he has a 3rd Gen 4 Runner.
