my uncle has been telling the family he's "immune" because he tested negative after my aunt and cousin have tested positive and been home sick. He still shares a bed and has been going to work.

my family is full of assholes

 

He should get an antibody test and prove it. Having the antibodies is more effective than the vaccine they're releasing but without the test to prove it he's just wishing

 

I know y'all will find it hard to believe that i'm the most mellow and agreeable person in the family

honestly he's pretty high risk too he's in his 50s and is obese, former smoker, very heavy drinker

 

I’m currently trying to decide if I want to attend a funeral or not. I don’t know if I wanna be around a bunch of older people right now.

 

Still only going out in public every 2 weeks for groceries.
I don't trust others hygiene.
My 95 year old Father finally said no to visits after a Country Club super spreader event where masks weren't worn.

 

we had one person the other day where this was the third time they had COVID lmfao

 

no one is immune, a virus does not discriminate. Just wants a host to replicate and live in

seen it a lot. And people who had their spouse be positive, and they test negative with the same fkn symptoms. Reason the virus is still here

it must be a frustrating time to be working in healthcare

 

Is there any indication this hides in the central nervous system and comes back like HSV or HPV ?

 

The worst is being double and triple booked daily, forced to see people as fast as ER pace in order to stay on track. Not to mention at this point the bounce backs from hospital discharges are up from failure of outpatient therapies. They kicking people out too soon bc there's no room. People are getting chosen to live or die at triage in ER's now. It's sad and disheartening. on top of that parents in Az fighting to keep in person school to make shit worse

 

That's my concern is shit will haunt people who got it like shingles.


They have had people with abnormal EEG's (brain scans) months after covid as well as cardiomegaly and other abnormalities seen on echocardiograms (US of the heart) from the virus. Have had to start people on long migraine meds from covid as well. like one was having headaches 6 months later without a prior history. weird stuff my man, nobody knows the latter effects of the virus. I have a feeling next year the truth with begin to reveal itself

That's the shit that really freaks me out. The after effects they are finding on "recovered" patients with their heart and brain....fuck that noise

 

My eastern European landlord believes he's immune due to how much he drinks... his exact words were

"If the virus gets in my body, there's so much alcohol in my bloodstream, they'll be too busy getting drunk and partying to actually infect me"
