Thank you as well, again very kind.

    It's possible.

To be honest, I'm a bit surprised she hasn't taken him yet. I'm sure that she's been watching him and caring for him carefully, she did mention if he was still acting strange tomorrow she would take him...
One reason I didn't think much of her not taking him at first at least, was because she has dealt with so many and been to so many different Vet office visits with them, that she was aware of things enough that he'd be fine..

But on the same note I'm aware that even Vets themselves can miss things, so it's not unlikely someone not thoroughly trained with access to all equipment X-rays and what not, that the likely hood of missing something goes up.

Thanks again everybody for the thought fullness for little Scooter.

One of my little ones hid a bottle cap in my shoe, I to wear the shoe took it out and her sister got to it idk what became of it

Fast forward to now the little one is vigorously looking in my shoes for her bottle cap after not finding it she's enraged

Her tail is 3x the size,
she's bouncing off walls, making weird noises so now I need to find her bottle cap

Unfortunately I have sad news on Scooter this morning.
She said last night while sleeping on her chest he passed away, and she's really upset that she feels like she didn't do enough.

I know she didn't willfully neglect him at all..
But unfortunately he had something more serious going on than what met the eye...
Based off what she had been telling me (like I had mentioned to ya'll), was after the first couple of days he started acting like a normal kitty and only yesterday he started back acting sickly... I'm pretty sure she would've taken him to the vet today, but if she'd have taken him yesterday and they would've kept him over night he would've died alone in some cage.

Now I feel bad for me being the one being responsible for her feeling the loss.

I guess he had someone for a little while love him, keep him warm inside, feed him, and he got good attention from other cats; instead of suffering, being cold, and wet on the side of the road and dying alone.. If he would've somehow survived that day I found him and lived, he most likely would've had a really hard rough life.

I wanna thank everybody for offering thoughts, prayers, and donations for the little Scooter.. That's always a nice thing knowing there's still good hearted people in this crazy world we live in.

    Now he's in Heaven..
    Scooter:pray:

I am so sorry to hear that Scooter passed away. You did a great thing. You made it possible for him to feel affection from other cats, and love and kindness from humans. He was not alone and cold at the end. He was feeling the warmth and heartbeat of a person that cared about him as he slipped away to heaven.

I feel bad for the lady. But she should be happy in the knowledge that she was there with him at the end. He wasn't alone.

Its never easy. But there was a lot of love for him during this time. Cats can feel love.

Thank you for all that you did.

    RIP Scooter

Oh man I’m sooo sorry to hear this terrible news!!! My first thought is feeling bad for you guys but after reading posts from others it’s a good reminder that he couldn’t have been in a better place when he passed. There’s a bunch of amazing kitties up there and they’ll show him the ropes. RIP little scooter!!
