Shitty. Just look at it as a good introduction to the next few years of getting dicked down by the military.

I know all to well about the military, it will be five years next month working as a navy civilian.

More than likely, the law enforcement won't even look for it.

If they happen to find it.......the damage will likely total the truck.

I've had the unfortunate situation with 2 vehicles stolen. The 1st was a '93 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. The only reason it was found is because it was abandoned.....out of fuel, blocking an intersection less than 3 miles from my location. I had been running on E for 3 days. It had been trashed. Turned into insurance, they totaled it.

The 2nd was a '99 Coleman Santa Fe folding camper. The law enforcement wouldn't look for it. They suspected it had been taken to the mountains in South Carolina and was likely a meth lab. Turned into insurance. The camper had a wheel lock, lock on the ball latch and removed the safety chains. All that was left was the broken wheel lock.

Good luck finding it and recovering, but don't hold out too much hope. Get your documents in order along with police report, notify your insurance.

I squared everything away with the King Sherriffs office and insurance. The problem I am most concerned about is insurance is being pennypinchers about the claim(expected). Though the more I talk with them the less confidence I have that they will even pay out. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt but I'm not holding my breath.

It irks ram owners when you call it a dodge ram. It irks them even more when you call it a Fiat Ram.

I don't know what you claimed, but the insurance will only use "book" value for settlement.

Don't expect anything additional for any mods that have not been added to the policy.

Like hell, if they want something they should work for it. Though I wish I could be there as they "try" to open the truck vault in the bed, they are certainly going to have to work for it.

My insurance didn’t use book and gave me WAY more then I expected... 88 Toyota pickup stolen in 2013 and they gave me almost $5000 for it.
