Just put in a deposit for an X1 today after visiting the shop and looking at Spencer's personal X1 yesterday.

    Estimated June 2021 completion date.

The X1 will be going on my 2nd Gen DCLB Tundra.

Great group of people there at Super Pacific. Spencer and the whole team
seems to be super dialed and knowledgable.

Here are some of the pictures I took while I was at the shop.

This is a view of the space between the bed and back of the camper with the bed fully extended.

    IMG_1627.jpg
The modular bed platform will slide fully above the cab to provide a wide open space above the bed of the truck.

    IMG_1626.jpg
T-slots in the ceiling give multiple options for mounting.

    IMG_1625.jpg

Spencer mentioned that they are going to be working on a new design for the 50/50 split panels at the rear of the camper. He said one side will be perforated to allow for air to escape when closing the camper shell. That perforated piece will also slide into the other piece so you don't always have to stash the panel when it's not in use.

Every time I’ve messaged them on IG I’m told they are only the marketing person and to call or email Cindy for everything. Attached the most recent one that wasn’t actually very recent.

Yeah back in the day it used to be Spencer that replied to the DM’s on IG way before Cindy was around. Only reason I DM’d them was because their story says to DM them LOL!

Thanks for the detailed pics of the full size. I didn't realize there were vents at the back and top of the tent. That can be good and bad. Hopefully the vent covers (don't appear to be zipped) wont flap in the wind. I really wish they would reverse the large windows on the tent to have the screen on the outside. that way you can open the windows from the inside without bugs getting in during the open/close process.

Will or do the mid-size (Tacoma) bed panels divide like the fullsize too? Up to now the pics I've seen only show the very end, maybe 2' open and the rest an immobile bed panel. And the full size looks like they use the larger Exped. That's pretty cool. I only recently got an Exped Deepsleep and so far I like it.

The downside to having the mesh on the outside is that rain/moisture collects against it and stays more than with the regular tent material.
Flapping is a big deal in the wind. Little things that you don't think about end up making noise in gusty winds.

Trust me I know about the flapping...I've lived the Flippac flap hell in DVNP on many occasions. That's why it is a concern.
Also know about the screen material on the outside from owning a FWC. I do think FWC windows have a great 3 way system. I would even opt for smaller windows on any wedge to have the 3 way system. Future options hopefully...or at least something manufacturers could consider.

I like the mesh on the inside, my backpacking tents are like that.

If its warm enough that bugs are out, chances are I'm not going to shut the fabric too.

im pretty sure the upper sleeping potion is the same size for all trucks, with only the canopy section changing dimensions.

Yeah, I believe this is the case. Mine doesn't taper much with the cab of the Tacoma whereas the taper of the X1 follows the taper of the F-150 very closely.

My bed panels are also the same configuration on the 6' bed tacoma.

(EDIT: The specs on SP's site show one size of sleeping area 107" x 56.5" x 6.125")
