in celebration of @ChadsPride's special day, I dropped off my truck at Discount to get some Wildpeaks put on. Nothing crazy, stock size. Saw the flash sale (which also must've been for Chadillac's birthday), and hoped on it.

 

bout to head to discount to do the same. 265/75 r16's tho.

 

Cool!! I was dead set on those but ended up with the ridge grapplers.

You will love them. I tried all different tires and I'm now set on the Wildpeak and will not look back. Great choice! They are great on sand, snow, rocks (hidden falls), and didn't get any troubles in mud so far

I wanted to do the 75s, but since @DownhillDragon just tuned the ECU, I figured I'd wait. Plus it kept me from having to buy a 5th tire.

 

Is the sale still valid?

 

Yea I didn't get a full size spare. If I get a flat in the rear I will just have to move a front tire to the rear and put the spare on front.

 

I bought a fullsize spare and OEM rim for my 285/70/16's, so dropped like $500 on a damn spare tire. 4 years in, still haven't used it... so part of me wants to get a flat some time so I can get my money's worth before the rubber degrades lol.

 

It doesn't matter where you put the smaller spare, the trac control is gonna flip out. Front or rear makes no difference since rear is an open diff.

 

would turning traction control off be a solution? just until you get to a shop.

All right, thanks. If it was still on, I would have picked up some Mishlynn's, and go rid of these ProComps. If anyone local is running 20s, and wants a killer deal on some 33s, lemme know. Prolly a good 20K left on them.

 

Got the Alu-Cab up on the truck. USPS delays means I'll be a few days without the third brake light on it being functional but that should be fine.

Mornin fam. There was some water falling from the sky, woot.

 

Reminds me, got a roof leak/ condensate line leak/ recessed light seal issue at my ceiling that I cannot get anyone to come look at. So annoying. Everyone says it’s something else, so they won’t come and diagnose.
