I had the windows tinted in my first car, and after about 2 years, all the windows had turned purple. It wasn't the Llumar, and they refused to do anything about it. Nothing looks worst that window tint that turns purple.

I've got the Llumastar film. 35% on door windows, 20% on back window. Very happy with those ranges and with the way everything turned out.

I've been looking around at remote starts as well. Make sure the price they give you is an "out the door price". One place locally was offering a 1 way remote start installed for $150. What they don't tell you is that after programming, bypass, and labor to program and install bypass, you are looking at another $200.

Excuse my ignorance, but I just don't get the whole suspension concept. Would these shocks lift the truck? And then what would you need to left the rear as well? Are these the 5100s that so many taco owners are using? Any idea on how much installation runs?

Yes the 5100's lift the front of the truck in three different levels, stock, .85, 1.75, and 2.5 inches of lift. I have these on the front of my truck set at 1.75 w/ a 2inch AAL in the rear. I installed the rear AAL by myself, and paid 250 to the the front installed. $60 of the $250 was for an alignment afterwards.

Was any of that $250 for the cost of the shocks? Or was it all just for installation?
