My switch for air is in the cab. I was planning on putting the locker switch with some I have by the gear shift. Might could wire a relay from the factory e locker so the front won’t be accessible unless the rear is engaged. Might not be worth it.

So if you do what me and Brian did which was no lockers and go with 2 ARBs the rear has to be engaged to engage the front via their switch wiring. I redid mine so I can just turn the front on without the rear. I still have to have my compressor on to turn it on though. There are times that just using the front locker and not the rear comes in handy. I've been in that situation a couple times now.

I’m going to keep my factory e locker so maybe it’ll be best to have them not tied together so I can use them independently or simultaneously

I really don’t like using my front locker unless the rear can’t get it done. When I do lock the front I try not to turn the wheel too much.

Can the front be engaged or disengaged under a load without causing any issues? Like halfway up something and you decide you need to turn sharp?

Lol, just make the blacks blacker for pop right @medic2230 . Idk if I’m doing the photo editing right, but they’re selling. So here we have a German Shepherd, a Husky, a Wheaten Terrier and Affenpinscher.

Also got a job for some 48” monogram gates. If you look at the K below you’ll see the inner part where I split the circle has a 1” bar on each side. I’m going to put that in a press brake fold 90 degrees, and the monogram will meet when gates closed tightly. The center bar that’s being bent is just there for strength.

That is what I want to do, it is really nice to have when you need it. Watch this truck make this turn with just the front wheels pulling. A lot of the guys I ride with have front dig and it really helps.

It is hard to engage and disengage under a load and sometimes you have to turn the wheels side to side to get it to work to.

Depends on where you are. On flat or slight slopes mine will but when on a steep hill or in a tight turn it takes a little while for the gears to line up so it can engage. You can have the compressor on and the locker engaged but still not be engaged. You can usually tell if it is locked or not, if the truck turns fairly easy it isn't locked. When it is locked it is pretty hard and some times impossible to turn.

You can test it in a parking lot. Lock it while driving across a parking lot while turning side to side. When it locks you wont be able to turn. I wish it had a light on it like the elocker that shows when it is or isn't locked.

Air locks a lot faster than elocker for sure but they still have a hesitation from time to time when you are in a bind.

Yea you’d have to put some sort of sensor in the diff to read it.
