Oh shit! I'm considering doing this at some point! (or maybe was... I like to keep my fire outside of the truck when possible.)

I just saw someone post a write up for that mod maybe a month ago or so and saved the link so I could come back and do it later when I felt more motivated, now I'm glad I waited! I guess I'll just have to get a light bar or something mounted down low if I want the trail directly in front of me illuminated while my brights are on.

Thinking more, I think by CB radio is next in line with my light bar for worthlessness. When I installed my light bar and CB radio I thought I would be doing much more offroad trails, then I got westnile virus and was paralized. I am walking again, but just not to the point that I would feel comfortable going out offroading as I wouldnt be able to recover myself and in the event of something bad happening to me, I would be in even more trouble.

So, my worthless mods may not be worthless next year

My CB is probably my most useless mod. I off-road a lot but no one else in our group has a CB so we’re always using handheld GMRS radios.

oooo ANOTHER one I forgot about. I hate CB radios so much. I went through multiple radios and antenna set ups and they were all garbage. I switched to GMRS radio's, both handheld and hard mounted, and the difference is night and day.

Wait your Baja came with the all weather flooring, instead of carpet? Never heard of that one before. Wonder if it was installed after the fact like some guys on here do.
Thats not true at all.. but to each their own haha

I've regretted it every time I've installed E-rated tires.

And I've done it twice now. (fool me twice) I get enticed.... All the cool, good looking tires are E-rated, and they say they are better at punctures... and they say it doesn't make a difference.... I mean I do go off-road regularly.... Maybe I NEED E-rated tires?

Then I install them, for about a week "This isn't so bad"
    Then for the next 40,000 miles "S&@& of B$@*&%! F$&*ing D#@*"
They ride horribly, and the truck feels slow AF.

E-Rated tires on a small vehicle: Never again!

I have similar comments/experiences, but those mods work for me because I added them for a purpose-driven reason.

Pulling recovery/chase duty for offroad races can eat stock vehicles or make it take way longer to get anywhere as rough as those tracks are.

Things I wish I could undo on my truck? Buying a truck with aftermarket flares instead of maybe getting a sport or offroad with black oem flares.

Paint underneath is pretty fudged and can't take em off unless I wrap or repaint that area. I was overly excited to get a Tacoma at a decent price though and didn't think about the flares.
