Others have done a dump right after the muffler.

My vote is to dump it after the muffler. Then you don’t have to worry about heat and rain/snow.

I dumped mine too - might overcomplicate things, but you could put a v band there if you wanted to run it dumped and sometimes through the bedcage.

Wrap should be plenty. I have it on my downpipe and I'm pretty sure I could touch it without burning myself if I needed too.

Just personal preference really with the exhaust. I like how I have it. I don't like the dump right behind the muffler. Just not for me.

    Thanks bud. Good to know.

I kept my setup as easy to service as possible - I don’t think it’s a problem if you want yours that way, the option to remove the rear most section with a v band what was I thought could help if you had to make changes or something and wanted to run it without the part past the muffler.

While I wait for tube connectors for the engine cage and flanges for the exhaust. I tackled a bunch of little things that I’ve been avoiding. Closed up the floor on the C channel tube in the cab cage. I sprayed the front fender well with some undercoating I got from Eastwood. I trimmed more of the bedsides for 35”s. I also boxed in my lower link mounts. I wanted to make sure if I hit a rock with them I would twist them or bend them. Pretty sure they will take a beating now.

Did it lay on thick? Deciding on how to coat the inside of all my glass and I had a bad experience with Duplicolor undercoating being olive green rather than black.

Got ya, so the undercoating goes on just like paint or bedliner spray. Just make sure the can is at room temp and you shake the can to mix it up real good. I rushed and it started off thin. Just like paint, if you don't spray it right it will run. Take your time painting. You'll get a feel for it once you use it. It seals real good. I'm pretty surprised. I think it would be great for fenders or bedsides if you do want to spend the money on line-x spraying. I haven't used the stuff before so I don't know if it will stand up to the test of time. From what I see or when I touch it, it seems like good stuff and Eastwood has a reputation of good stuff. One can goes pretty far in coverage depending how many coats you use. I did 4 coats on each side and still have about 1/4 left of the can. But it is Black, not some off black or dark grey. Good luck bud.

Ok the exhaust is all welded up. I made one hanger. I need to make another that I will weld under the fuel cell. But I’m holding off on welding it to the truck until I pull the fuel cell later to paint everything. I don’t want to much heat to the fuel cell. Waiting on the exhaust wrap.

Kinda surprised the joints worked at different angles like that...
    I guess they're not "sleeved"?
