OEM PARTS HOOKUP

Needing to buy a new rack & pinion, tie rods, ball joints, and few other items for a 02 taco i recently picked up. Does anyone know of a plug for oem parts? Thanks, Jay

Gunny is no longer there or at least not in contact with TW and parts anymore. Camelback Toyota where he worked doesn't have the same deals they used to.

I've heard good things about McGeorge Toyota being a good place to get OEM parts from lately, price-wise

check out Toyotapartsdeal.com for some of the other parts your looking for. Don't forget to include shipping costs in the overall total price. I just ordered 2 upper ball joints and some other small parts from them. Good luck in your decisions.

The 555 (an OEM manufacturer) ball joints are every bit as good as the OEM, and are about half the price.

I have always gotten the best deal and service from my Local dealer.

I have been using them 20 plus years since most all my parts are now 20 plus years old My parts manager always says I will try lets see what happens.

Then he says the Service Manager said a newer part just might work I will order one in .

a plug... as in a place? I actually bought a brand new OEM power steering rack online from Mcgeorge Toyota. They had the best price. They're shipping was reasonable and have excellent customer service. I've ordered stuff from them since.
- Also, fyi, the new power steering rack came with the updated/superb rack guide. So no need to modify that which is a added bonus.

 

Thanks to the SCOTUS, now only order online from Toyota dealers ignoring the SCOTUS decision. However, when shipping costs exceed sales tax (10.5% here and going up!), will will-call locally.

 

I agree, McGeorge is amazing in the large inventory they carry, their discounted prices and knowledgeable staff.
Plus, they're only 20 minutes away from me.

I just purchased a new set of OEM carpeted floormats for my '96, only $63 for the four piece set. I only need the two for the front, but at $63 who cares.
