    two hunnit fitty dollars !?! That's a ridiculous piece of kit, to be honest.

    I use a 40 dollar campla pop-up shower tent. Actually I've only used that twice. If nobody's lookin, I dont need to screen myself from nature. :bananadance:

    I've had this one for years and I really like it. I got it on clearance for around 90.00 when I bought. Multiple really cool things about it is you have two rooms. One for changing and one for showering. The shower side has a mesh floor to let the water run out. I put a rubber mat in the ground below it to keep from making mud. I also put the portable toilet in the dry side. My wife loves having this thing. Also its instant so it pops up and down in about a minute. So you can even use it for a quick change at the beach, or getting ready to do something right after work and not have to go home. I'd say it's one of the best purchases I made. thttps://

    I have one. There are a couple other companies that make similar ones as well.

    I love it, we have propane water heater, and this year I made a pump and filter system that filters creek water and pumps it through the water heater. Taking indefinitely long hot showers is a luxury I would have paid much more for so the investment was an easy one.

    Nice setup there. Can you describe the 2 black rods that hold the curtains? I already have an enclosure, so I'm looking for a solution to hang up my heater while showering. Been thinking of something like you have there I could add to my bed rack. Swing out an arm, hang the heater and get to showering.

    Sure, did you have some specific questions about them?
    The arms are on a hinge that locks open.

    Is there something stopping you from mounting the heater straight on the bedrack?

    Thanks for your reply. Arms...I see that now and it is part of the tent assembly. And I hear you on mounting to bed rack and still looking for best approach - and I'm on a mid height rack so limited there. I'd like to get the heater exhaust away from the truck some kind of way.

    Couldn't you just extend the exhaust pipe? This would get it away from the truck I think?

    What I have seen on most photos of these desal heaters is people letting the exhaust running under the tent but no one has mentioned that they have any issues with exhaust getting into the tent.
    Sick! That thing looks perfect for you. Stoked you found something for your set up.
