This thread seriously kicks ass. Thankful to have you all share a thing or two about yourselves, learn a thing or two along the way and keep the daily content consistent.

Happy Friday you sumbitches. Let's all get through it safe.

My shop projects must fit in my lunch box. I believe where I work, the next person to come through security with so much as a loaded round will be terminated. A example. Latest home project, paint should be dry now. One for each leaf spring of course20201217_155714.jpg

That's what I love about working here, my boss doesn't care what I work on as long as the milling machine is running. You know the old saying "it ain't earning if the spindle ain't turning" :D

Years ago things were much different here. Stories of cold brews and trading firearms in the parking lot. Coworker had a single 22LR shell got loose by means of a small hole in the pocket of his jacket. Bad day for him but hes still here. One of my mentors now retired made a huge cannon, beautiful polished ss and brass accents. Those days are gone.

Pick a seat and don't forget to grab a donut on your way in before I eat them all.

I needed a better way to attach after market RCI skid plate to the fuel tank on my TRD Sport. I've 2x experience with holes in fuel tanks. I ended up using longer ones than these extras. May have been able to attach without but would have had to apply great upward pressure to get regular nuts started.20201217_211541.jpg

It does, our parking lot is on a little incline as well so that doesn't help.

For measuring id assume you'd want a beaker or graduated cylinder. We make 10 ml beakers too lol

Graduated cylinder, but those can be TC (to contain) or TD (to deliver).

I swear I’m not a nerd! I grew up on a farm, and I’m always the biggest redneck in every lab I’ve worked in in the last 22 years. Most of my coworkers are amazed at what I can fix at home, or that I can work on vehicles, or take a deer from the woods to the freezer by myself! And talking about welding seems to amaze them even more.

All I’ve got is this little guy. And the stir plate I made.

that was back from my beer brewing days. I made most of my equipment myself. Now that I’m retired from that hobby I brew kombucha and keg it in 5 gallon batches.

here are a few of my setup. I made the drip tray too I have more equipment that I made from stainless for the grain steeping and a customized keg kettle.
The good thing is the kombucha doesn’t need a temperature controlled fermentation chamber, so I sold that to make some space in the shop.
