    There are other options out there for cheaper ($1200 or so) that are synchronized (I think the ezlift is synchronized though) that go higher. Which would be very nice for some maintenance or mods. Especially on cars. One thing I like is that it gets all 4 wheels off the ground at the same time and not switching from front to rear or side to side depending on the situation. A jack and jack stands will always be needed, but this is a nice luxury if you have the cash and work on a lot cars like family and friends like I do.

    Most people do not have ceiling height for a 2 post lift...or even a garage at that.

    Yes. I have a 2 post lift in the shop and I would like a mid height lift for the house garage for doing waxes and tire rotations.

    Something like this needs no adjustments. Drive over it and lift.

    The 2 post requires all arms to be adjusted Evey time it is used. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

    Actually, the one thing that I found interesting were the wheels that attach to the lift allowing you to move the vehicle around. Granted it would need to be over a smooth, level, hard surface, but it could come in handy.
