Don't think it's possible for you to single handedly bring the average up.

But go forth and be fruitful in your attempt

@taco-houla another issue you might be having is ice buildup on the sensors, simply take a wire wheel attachment for a drill and brush the ice off of the sensor, the sensor is plenty tough enough to handle light brushing with it.

Alternatively you could take a plumbers torch or something similar and melt the ice off, just be a little more cautious with the open flame.

Depends on the thickness of the ice, I’d highly recommend a sledge hammer if it is too thick.

Classic case of the ID 10T error coupled with an RTFM failure.

While I agree with you, he is at least getting some solid advice in this thread.

I googled it, 10T failure is related to an airplane??? and an RTFM is used on a wheelbarrel made in the Ukraine somewhere, nothing on google related to Tacomas???

True...... I'm sure all the advice given would eliminate the problem.

Frankly, I'd just use the snow brush as I walk around the truck clearing the windshield and headlights. I know some folks just use the wipers to clear snow off the windshield.

Definitely...Friday. good Lord......... just simply amazing.

Someone told me a pot of hot water does the trick, melts all the snow and clears out any ice stuck on the wipers.

yep, hot water will work. It must be boiling before you dump it on the truck.

A large enough pot of water will allow you to boil the whole truck (windows up of course).

Of course, without it this would be a bad idea.

Hmmmm, this seems like a pretty solid solution as well.

(I am wanting to move to Austin/SA area in the next few years actually, I don't mind the snow, I hate the cold though).

Another rational solution would be to move to California. When they ban gas vehicles you will no longer have this problem.
