Let me correct myself, the Bare panels have been shipped.

 

I've been PMing you to keep it clean. But you have been telling me since November 21st that mine will go out "next week." I am no stranger to waiting, as I am on month 14 of the Drifter.

It is unprofessional to keep telling me it's going out, only to say these ones went out.

I don't care what panel I got, I tried to make it easy by not saying which one I'd prefer. I can gaurentee you I was one of the first ones to pay... And to keep seeing these updates is frustrating to say the least.

Well, now that this is all shipped. I wanted to point something out to you group buyers. When you are in the middle of a group buy and everyone has paid through PayPal. All the money is controlled by PayPal and that is great because it protects the customer. But for the seller, PayPal will get to a point they start holding the money to ensure there is no fraud. This is also great for the customer, but it holds up the seller's funds. They hold it for 21 days or until they get a tracking number.

I am telling you this because in the case of this group by. Someone got pissed off and filed a dispute against BARE Outfitters. That immediately locked up all the money on hold by PayPal. Then once that was settled someone else did it too. WE AL Offroad Products ALoffroadUSA.com are still waiting for around half the money from all these orders. If you do the math on that it's not a little bit of money. We know we will get our money once it is released to BARE by PayPal.

I wanted to say this to put this whole cluster-%$@# in perspective. We value TacomaWorld.com and we were not going to hold up orders for the money. We jumped in here to fix this group buy because we are a new company, we want a good reputation in the offroad world. We just started this business in Feb. 2020. Then COVID hit! We are proud of this product and we wanted everyone to get it. We know some of you were and are still pissed off. I had to refund money to someone yesterday that was unwilling to work with me and told me he was going to drive up the street and get a Mountainhatch (By the way, when you are tired of hauling that heavy panel around and get tired of knocking over your beverage I will be happy to give you 20% off our panel). This really bothered me after everything I have tried to do to get the product flowing. I put BARE panels ahead of my restocking order I have going right now.

I didn’t purchase a hatch but I was thinking about it I just want to say that you definitely handled it as well as you possibly could. Props to you guys for going above and beyond.

 

A Mountain Hatch? Hahahahaha. A terrible product with non existent customer support. I got rid of mine about a week after I got it. Feel sorry for anyone who purchases one of those!

 

You can’t please everyone but you can only do your best! I will say I did want the bare outfitters logo but once you took over I just wanted the panel asap so I went with yours and I like it. The panel is great, very happy with it and I would not be afraid to do business with you again! Don’t let a few bad encounters turn you away from the forum.

I am going to wait until Monday to determine that. But I have two on hand right now. I added 2 extra just in case.

I’m one of those that started to get a little frustrated. Patience is a virtue though and I couldn’t be happier with my @AL Offroad Products Trailgate. Group buys can be the death of small/new businesses. Especially with a bunch of keyboard warriors.

 

I was getting frustrated also, but I want to thank AL Offroad for stepping up and taking care of all of us.

May I please have a decal? I bought and paid very quickly. I got the AL version. It looks good, but I really dig you logo. I was on the group buy, but didn't get the sticker.
