So no real mods today, but I did just have my alignment done. I put jba uca’s on my rig this last weekend and here is what the numbers look like. At 2.00” - 2.25” of lift with 887’s in front I had around 2.4* caster with the stock uca’s. I drove the truck like this for about a year and got tired of the bump steer. It wasn’t awful, but I had the opportunity to get jba’s and I’m glad I did now. I know this is common knowledge, but in case you were wondering what numbers are achievable with high caster uca’s, here they are. Cheers!!

Size 10 silicon ring from Amazon has worked for me for the last year. Cheap, like $8 for 3 of them. Many colors to choose from.

I think it looks good, I went with something similar after I saw your post. But I went with vinyl decals from Etsy.

Here's an option, they have all colors to choose from.
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/714157814/premium-cast-vinyl-decals-for-2016-2021?ref=yr_purchases

Here's what the white looks like over my black overlays.

That clears it up. I completely agree if you are on a 1000km trek is AUS where your rig actually has that range. I was so confused at first because I thought you were talking about the US. For the 3rd gen taco wheeling scene, US scene for that matter, 2 spares is too much. Most of the wheelers out there will never even have to fix a flat.

Not trying to be an asshole, but I think we can all agree that the definition of "wheeling" in this day and age is not what it used to be. Wheeling isn't a dirt road. Wheeling should mean the trail is difficult enough that the probability of a failure is eminent. Someone will more than likely break. Someone will have to fix something. It's gonna be hard. At the end you feel accomplished though.

Also... I wish we could get a 1000km off-road range on our rigs here.

I see all these posts about radio knows but haven't seen anyone mention Hondo Garage Radio Knobs. I have them for my radio and love them. They aren't cheap, but they are well made.

Installed the ESP rear underseat storage locking box today, snow picked up but had to get it out of my living room before my girlfriend blew a gasket :rofl:It’s somewhat heavy duty (though could obviously still be broken into) but it will deter the thieves who are in and out in 30 seconds. Now every single storage area in my cab is lockable! And it’s American made by a small family company, Earl’s a good guy and I’m sure he would appreciate your business.

I almost sank a boat once after a few beers myself. Wasn't a bit funny and cost me a couple of grand to repair the damage. :bananadead:

Looks good! Just curious if you think you could fit two of those dog carriers side by side between the wells. I haven’t had time to measure and I’ll be picking up two for my pups. Thanks!
