    If i were to get one, I'd love to get my hands on the little tray that slides out the back.
    Throw all the spare tools/ recovery crap in there. would be a nice have :pccoffee:

    though a question for you, i assume the tray is a lot heavier than the stock OEM bed right/ Without the canopy that is

    Its been a while since I ordered, but I think that is available from uteltd. I am sure @Ralf has a better more water tight option available too if it is possible (his stuff does seem top notch). I know with the Uteltd cross bars it may be hard to to put a drawer there. I haven't looked into it so I am not entirely sure.

    I love this stuff guys. Just can't get past the price point. Resale ? Will it hold value. IDK.

    The thing I like about the flat bed is everything is kind of like legos. I wonder if we were to buy just the bed if @Ralf would be cool to sell stuff individually and not as a complete kit.

    In terms of resale, the bed would be worth more as it would fit on a variety of vehicles, other then that this modifying game doesn't help resale lol

    Figured there would be something, best to see what @Ralf 's final design will be.

    This is a rabbit hole i don't want to go down...
    on one hand;
    Money, and that i have my current build and love it so far with some minor things here and there need to be fixed (sunk cost fallacy)

    on the other hand;
    i haven't picked out suspension for my current build so i've not exactly sunk that much into the rear other than; the tonneau cover, the backrack (plus wiring the lightbar and the 7 pin connector), the L-track bed rails and RTT i've put together (
    i mean technically i can still use the RTT on just the flat tray. would need to install the L-tracks into the bed the same way you have it. but if i put a canopy in, i'm not sure if i'll find myself trying to climb the truck to get into it if i mount it to the roof lol)
    , and the junction box which i would be relocating or redoing entirely again....
    and after seeing this guy
    tacoma camper.jpg
    :bananadead:

    Hey @Ralf Can i be sponsored by you? idk i'll pay half? even a proto type?
    I can show off the Ute tray here in Ontario at the Jeep clubs and overland clubs that take place
    make the Gladiators envious or something
    Hell, i'll even drive over to Oilberta to get this thing fitted if you need me to.

    So yes, you can buy just the tray. There’s no upfront commitment to buy tool boxes, drawers, side boards, water tank, etc. These can all be added after owning the tray and mounting it on your truck. The drawer will still be able to be installed once the tray is on your truck.

    I’m still looking at doing an “economy” style deck. No interior tie downs, no tire carrier headboard, things like that.

    All of our trays will include fenders, wiring and lighting. Easily installed, and fuel filler is the only factory part that requires modification.

    Im still trying to figure out the fenders lol

    I may be bothering you down the road for a half drawer down the road....I have to figure out shock towers in the rear first...

    Yea the Ute Ltd. one doesn’t really allow for a drawer with its mounting brackets. This could be done though, just change a few things. But again, that’s why we’re doing a ground up design.

    I assume you'll be doing some sort of budget way to get an enclosed tray? like a couple extra bars that you attach to the tray and a canvas canopy.

    Would bet easier to ship than a solid enclosed and give some add-on options down the road for those than only buy the tray.

    It's more disturbing when sites like TacomaBeast and CBI offer financing links right on their product pages.
