I've done all the research on differences and opinions that I can and can summarize with that "Kings are king" (idk why), and Fox may be more Tacoma-focused than King. I read that King doesn't actually have an "extended travel", they just remove a little internal spacer. Fox, idk. Fox corroded for someone, which was probably an oddity. King is light blue, I'm about to do navy blue raptor liner; Fox is black and silver, lot more neutral.

King doesn't really list their travel anywhere, but I read the "extended are 0.25" more travel" (negligible) from an unknown extended length. I believe it is just under 5" though.

Fox on the other hand has a real extended travel option at 5.57" (+0.55" from their standard 5.02"). So Fox wins there.

King is $100 less than Fox. - winner King

Fox is partnered with Toyota for their 3rd gens. - winner Fox

I think I've decided that I don't need external reservoirs (at least not for the $800 price increase), and I'm pretty sure they can be added later (?). Therefore, clickers are also out, so that narrows it down to two choices:

I'd vote ADS if I did it again for the custom valving they provide.

I had Fox 2.5 on my Tacoma and run King 2.5 on the 4Runner.

Both are quality coilovers that can be rebuilt easily by a lot of people when the time comes.

And to answer your question about the internal spacer, Fox does the same.

In short, can't go wrong with either.

But I tried both, now I'd go ADS with reservoir.

Do I just pick springs and shocks separately? I don't see a coilover option

Coilover would mean the shock and coil spring together, assembled.

You can choose a different spring depending on the added weight you'll have up front.

Right, the King and Fox are coilovers and I don't see an ADS coilover on their website

I run Kings on my Tacoma and Fox on my Tundra both are at the top of their game so it really comes down to preference and you really can't go wrong with either.

My vote however is Kings for the slight edge because I love the Kings in blue

Before getting rudely interrupted by this stupid alert, you can see a google search easily yields many results, including said coilovers by other vendors.

Unsure what Walmart search bar you're using -

Like I said it must be down.

They have drop down options and more, could just be a glitch.

I ran 600lb with bumper and no bumper; loved it.

Again, try a different search bar as there are tons of pics. This site is also a reputable as is Downsouth you linked above -
