Elka suspension is top tier, I think they were most popular with long travel quads/ATVs.

I have an Elka shock on my SV650S and also found out they are the company that manufacturers the newer Toytec coilovers.

Probably because ADS doesn't actually manufacture full race shocks.

"ADS racing shocks are built to bridge the gap between full race shocks and performance series shocks"

1st link is for 3.5+ LT kit only and does use 8" shocks.

All of the bolt in extended travel coilovers are probably within 1/4" of one another. There's only so much that can be done with stock geometry.

I know it was for LT, but there was no Tacoma option despite the 4Runner and Tacoma sharing the same front. So it was an attempt to gather data on the 4Runner option, and the 4Runner pic looks like the 8"/custom pairing.

ADS doesn't specify on their bolt-in if its extended or what. It just goes standard or "LT". I sent an email asking the differences.

I run King 650#. No bumper or winch. I have a steel skid plate and sliders. I called King, they recommend 650# springs considering the lift I wanted to achieve. If you're looking for lift, adding preload to the 600# springs will negate the ride quality. I added no preload to mine and got the 2.5" I wanted.

The ride quality didn't really change too much. The big change was E tires.
