I haven't seen anything yet from my TWSS (99% probability that it's been delayed, between the weather around here and volume of UPS/FedEx/USPS this year), so at this point I'm assuming everybody who's still mailing stuff must be sending it to me!

I'm in the same way of thinking as you. Hopefully my SS gift gets here before x-mas but if it doesn't I still believe in the TWSS system. The elves are going to have a hell of a time making sure that all of the gifts that are supposed to be sent are getting received. In a way, we can blame the mail system, but in another way, this is why I sent out my TWSS gift as early as I did.

I like early as well, unless it's hand crafted LIKE SOMEONES AXE THEY GOT. I fulfill my obligation early, my giftee is happy, I'm happy it makes it there well before getting banned. We all enjoy the holidays with a smile.

Eh. I sent mine (the first time) on Saturday afternoon, so only 12 days before the 'main event' but in plenty of time to get to NewYorkachusettszonatuckymington. But, I really wasn't expecting to have it arrive somewhat worse for wear on my doorstep 4 days later
I mailed it again last night after work, and FedEx claims it'll be there in time for X-mas. We'll see, but I called in a relief pitcher from the Amazon bench just in case. So at least they're guaranteed to get something from me before the big day.
All sorts of curve balls that can happen this time of year, so if mine shows up after the holiday I really don't mind.
Same as Christmas, I like giving a gift and seeing what other people got way more than unwrapping something myself. The GF (and my parents) have complained for years that I'm impossible to shop for because of it. That, and I'm lucky enough (financially) that if I want something I can generally just buy it myself, unless it's too expensive. And if it's expensive enough that I won't buy it for myself, then I definitely don't want somebody else buying it for me, so I don't tell anybody that I want it!

Not an option for me. Never wanted one, and even if I did I've got a needle phobia. I don't even like getting my tetanus booster

At least I don't have to worry about a heroin addiction :notsure:

Hence my past few years..wanted em all my life but I probably hate needles more than you. Since getting over that (at least to the point of being able to sit for a tattoo), it's made her life simple. Problem is she has to worry about what tattoo I will get and if she wants to be seen with me if said tattoos are easily visible...
