1-5rnd per roll of toilet paper. :)

I have had a order in at opticsplanet almost 3 months. 1000 9mm was in tbe low 20 cent per shell range.
    Am not holding my breath.

Had a order from gunmagswarehouse... sat in texas usps for a month, cancelled and refund.

Saw some numbers of 21 million guns sold this year...bonkers.
And thats just through the middle man.

I didn't pay twice the normal price. $16.95/50 is about what I've paid several years ago. No it's not bulk <$200/ 1k pricing, but it's as good as it gets right now.

If you have a better deal, please share...

    Good laugh on my end.
My 100 year old granny just handed over a little .22 and a ammo can with some old .22 boxes.
50rnds of .22 $1.03 Winchester Super Speed HP.

Probably been 8-10 years now...since i got it.

I’m not from the south, but there’s a saying around here that seems appropriate.

I meant 'normal' as in ~3 years ago. It doesn't matter what "normal' is, what I meant by my question is... are you guys shooting a lot, even with the high price of ammo?

A couple of reasons, yes I plan on training more than I used to and on my dime, not the gov’t. I have a few new firearms that I need to learn to have faith in. Also, the future of availability is uncertain and I’m hedging my bets on the supply side of things.

No, we’re not expecting to hit 1000 bad guys, especially with range ammo.

My fault as well, I’ve been sick for 24 hrs and a bit punchy for no reason.

I wished I had access to low price quality ammo, but I haven’t seen that in a very long time. $8.99 for a box of 50 won’t happen again, as manufacturing cost are well beyond that capability. Environmental restrictions has had its toll on the industry.

Lot's of reasons why the price went up but IMO supply and demand is one. Now that the manufactures no that folks will pay a hefty price, we will never see 'normal' again. But, once things calm down and the market is saturated I think the price will come down... some. How much? Who knows.

Well, its better to have it and not need it than the other way around. Plus a gun is easier to carry than LEO.
