Yep, l sold it last year. It was still up in PA and l couldn't get up to bring it down here with everything going on. It was a Texas car so l really started with a clean rust free car, I also did suicide doors on it too.

 

And you're just telling us this now?!?!

 

Yeah, l have a house and garage full of parts here for it that l need to put up for sale. Have a fully built Trans, killer engine pieces, chrome adjustable suspension, disc brakes, all kinds of stuff.

 

You own another house?

 

No all those parts are here with me but the car itself was still back in PA, a State Cop that was retiring bought it.

 

At parents’ house?

 

Well after my Dad passed it was at a buddies place and kept getting bounced around.

 

@PennSilverTaco I dont know if you remember me telling you l got to see a Concorde airplane landing, l happened to be at an Air Cooled VW show in Manassas Virginia and just happened to be watching the drag races at the time.

 

My friends dad use to roll around in a V8 Bug. That was in the early 2000’s I wish I had a camera phone back then. The license plate said “V8 BUG”

 

Here’s a story; About a year ago, a woman with Aspergers who I met at a car show in the summer of 2019 wanted me to go in on an apartment in Levittown...

This woman was in her 40s and had quite a bit of mental/emotional baggage. I can’t tell you that once situation I definitely don’t want to be in is being in my early forties and not being able to afford an apartment without a roommate!

I told her that I lived five miles from my job and didn’t feel like commuting from Levittown; She misinterpreted this as me
not having a license or something, and offered to drive me to work...

I very firmly said that I had a driver’s license and my own vehicle, but why would I add 30 miles to my commute when I didn’t need to? On top of that, I barely knew this woman beyond meeting her at the car show the one time and being friends on Facebook...

I didn’t want to hurt her feelings, so I spared her my true feelings about Levittown; I think the place is a shithole!

Every once in a while, she’ll send me random religious messages on Facebook, but for the most part I never hear from her.

Seriously, I live rent-free five miles from work; Why would I move further away?!?!
