I had the 30" cutout as well but recently swapped out to the 40" if anyone is interested.

Anyone used heavy duty zip ties to secure cargo, tools, etc to your roof rack? Seems like a cheap/easy method.

I use these to secure wiring for my accessories, and also hold gear temporarily in place. Great solution

I'm in the process of replacing an original front deflector that had a cutout for a lightbar and had the molded weather stripping along the front edge, with a new CBI version with no cutout. My original one had that hard, wire infused molded strip along the front edge with a rubber seal attached to make contact with the roof and reduce noise, and in my opinion made for a clean, seamless look between roof and deflector. I removed said strip/seal from the original deflector, but since it had been so long, it was ruined during removal.

Anybody know where can I get another one of those molded seals?

They sell them on the CBI website... https://cbioffroadfab.com/product/noise-reducing-edge-trim/
You may find something similar at any auto parts store also.

I saw that one.. but I couldn't tell if it was the molded one. Looked like just plain adhesive backed weatherstripping.

To confirm.. this one? (Mine separated and the wires deformed inside so it doesn't hold it's shape anymore)

Hmm, my first guess is that's just a bad picture on their website.
Can't say though for sure so I'd give them a call or take a piece of the one you have to an auto parts store and see if they can match it.
    Good luck!

    Use the rotopax universal mount

    https://rotopax.com/universal-mounting-plate.html

The holes on it and the adjustability of the crossbars makes it pretty easy to mount

Does anyone know if Front Runner accessories fit the Prinsu T slots? Front Runner makes such awesome accessories but I haven't seen if they would work

Hi, did you cut the bar down because the Tacoma rack is only 47" wide? I'm thinking about doing the same on a Land Cruiser but the rack is 48.5 wide.

My first assumption is that it's a custom fabbed box from CBI since it looks like they did all the "armor" and they now own Prinsu. All of us Lexus LX570 owners are craving a lot of the stuff shown on the J201 for sure.

I see, so something not available yet... seems like a great idea.

I don't know for sure but I would not be surprised. I could be wrong and someone else may know if the box is manufactured and sold somewhere.

I don't know, my traction boards get extremely muddy/wet, why would I want to put them in a box that would collect the mud and snow? Maybe there is something about it that I don't understand. Is it cut out on the bottom? I guess we'll see.

If this is indeed a closed box to protect never-used maxtrax, then, oh my gosh, the broverlander points it would generate could be huge.

That box looks well built. I’d guess someone spent $500 to protect their $300 Maxtrax :spending:

The video on the Roam site shows there are tie-down channels, on what looks like a Prinsu cabrack - did you try that as well, or is drilling the only/most secure way to mount that 95L?
