Only took you a few weeks to get this?!

I've been waiting for a Sub-C for almost a year

I was surprised when I got the call. I figured it would take at least a couple of months, but it worked out. What's funny is that at the beginning of November I ordered the steel bracelet for my Tudor Heritage Ranger from this same AD, and it took longer to get that bracelet from Tudor than it did to get the D-Blue.

The redesigned Submariner looks very nice, and I think it'll be worth the wait. Hopefully, you'll hear from the AD soon.

Just received this today. New old stock of a discontinued Nixon "Sentry". I've found Poshmark to be a good source of watches! This guy had it miscategorized as gold when it's in fact the very limited brass model. New in box with the crown protector cap still on it and the clasp shrink wrapped, shipped to my door for $100 less than the $250 street price. For some reason I got the green face idea in my head a couple months ago and this was the only thing under $1k that struck my fancy. Took a lot of work to track down but as of today I'm all smiles.20201219_214325.jpg

I did a business case study on the Petrodvorets watch company many years ago. If I remember correctly those watches are hand made one at a time from start to finish. The movement accuracy is some crazy off the wall # of +/- 3 seconds every 24 hours. Rolex is +/- 5 seconds lol Nice time piece.

I like that they went with Breguet numerals on the bezel. Seems like an odd choice but it works well. Nice watch!

Did you get that in the TWSS? I saw that watch and posted in this forum about it. I’d never heard of that brand, but that’s a really cool looking watch!

How does it wear so far? Is this easy to read in the dark?

I like it!!! Comfortable on the wrist, good weight and band. If I have sunlight on it during the day, it is very visible at night but a dark cloudy day, I can still see it but not easily. I do have other watches with a little better nighttime readability. I wear it 2-3 times per week.

But I was also gifted this:
Garmin Fenix6X Titanium Solar which I have been wearing to try and learn how to operate. I changed the band to the black silicone.

    Changed up the strap

I do still wish I’d gotten the 38mm khaki field instead of this 40mm king, the long lugs make it wear a lot bigger. Live and learn.
