    Been putting in some extra hours since I got a pay raise. It's just a 3 month temp position with 45 hours a week guaranteed with decent pay. I'm applying elsewhere while I work.

    Today I noticed one of our mid-late 90s ezgo carryall golf carts had no electrical functions besides to the motor. Popped the seat off and found a ton of loose connections. If we report it to our facilities/maintenance department they'll scrap the cart. But they'll turn a blind eye if it continues to pass yearly safety inspections. The IT department doesn't have the budget for new carts if one dies so we'll just be without. Since nothing happens in the office the week of Christmas until we get off work Thursday I'm debating on fixing it for fun on the clock.

    Homeownership sometimes comes with woes. Underground drainage lines eventually fail and become clogged with roots. Roto Rooting plumbers become a regular visitor. Replacing the lines is not a trivial expense item. I have some bushes and that I should pull up to clear the way for the line replacement.

    Good use of a winch for sure. Probably saw more use there than it will off road. The link he gave is for Amazon, which shows it at $809. Harbor Freight has it for $500. Might go that route myself to start off.
