We were running out, I went into the canyon with my last one. I should have resupplied when we got firewood.

Went to the Trasharoo website to see if they had any sort of warranty for the one year and one month old bag that currently has 3 broken plastic clips and found it telling that their best seller is a set of replacement buckles for $12. They do have a 12 month policy but that doesn't help me.

I wish someone had told me how awful installing this stuff is. Goose Gear Back Seat delete is here and some missing hardware bits show up tomorrow so no more slacking. I took care of the back wall panels from the kit which was simple but the truck is a bit more complicated. FE0723F0-0713-45C4-9301-9A191C5D6EAE.jpg

I’m talking about the sound deadening material, trying to form foil-backed used bubble gum into the less than flat surface that is the cab of a Tacoma is not my idea of a good time. But no seats means it’s very noisy so it has to be done.

You're the right age to remember the dynamat rage. I guess you forgot helping your buddies install that in their cars.

Yeah I knew you meant the sound deadening. I haven’t used it before, nor have I looked into its install. Always thought it just stuck on with relative ease aside from “fitting” the different shapes. Molding used bubble gum doesn’t sound fun haha.
I hear you on having to do it with the seat delete though. Good call!

You are supposed to smash all the little bubbles flat, gonna have to start over.

Did you remove the stock stuff down to bare metal or just install over it?

i used an aluminium ice cream scoop mostly, then a friend lent me his rollers, so

i put this stuff only on metal, so moved the stock stuff. this took hours and hours i might add, like 6-8 each truck (i went up C pillars and filled in around seatbelt with rolled up bits of foam - an old sleeping mat - and as far forward as the under seat cubbies)

i want to do the rear window, and at least the rear part of the roof, but maybe later...

Wanna do mine too? I already did the prep work.
Nope, just the one and wearing gloves to use my fingers for the tight spots
We just rolled around with trunk lids that rattled.

Back wall done, now to move onto the floor, hopefully it’s easier since it’s less complicated. The missing hardware arrived so I’d like to get everything finished up today

Finished up the install of the Goose Gear Back Seat Delete. The installation of the sound deadening was no fun but hopefully it will make a difference since there won’t be thick seats to soak up road and exhaust noise.

Now that it’s in I’ll need to figure out how to keep Belle secure but also able to wander around, how to secure the fridge and where all my stuff needs to be stashed in the different setup

Took me all Yesterday to do what you did and the roof! Floors today, and probably have to do the doors another day :boom:
I'm using a foam layer too, so it takes a little extra time
I bought both Dynamat and Killmat on Amazon, and the Killmat was easier to install, they also have a roller set of 3 for just a few more dollars than the single :notsure:
