    Is there anything you to do to the rear window itself, or do you just connect the harness and everything works? Wonder if it comes with that cool window sliding button

    Your probably right. I may have been a little to harsh and opinionated. I understand getting home for work on Monday. I do dumb shit and if I break I am fortunate enough to have an alternate vehicle that will get me by (if it isn’t broken).

    I agree on the weekend warrior stuff. As long as they get out responsibly and leave the forest/trails better than when they came in.

    I just fired up because of how long I have been doing this and what it used to be. Get stuck in the past and miss the old days when it (“it” being an unknown place) was still a hidden gem.

    I guess a message to everyone would be;

    STOP F***ING GEOTAGGING! STOP TELLIN THE WORLD ABOUT THE COOL HIDDEN SPOTS. PART OF THIS IS THE ADVENTURE OF FINDING YOUR OWN GEMS FOR YOU AND CLOSE FRIENDS! SHAME ALL THAT GEOTAG!!!

    Congrats on the LT! Which one did you go with?

    Thanks, I’m looking between those and ST Maxxs. I know both from “Cooper” but always like more into. And 50 less a tire isn’t bad.

    Cleaned up some cables in the engine bay. Between the light bar, fog/DRL, and RGB headlights the wiring was getting far too messy. Pretty happy with where it is at now but the engine bay could use a good clean.

    All good man, I wasn't trying to be argumentative or anything. I totally agree -- I spent my childhood outdoors, camping and hiking. I was fortunate enough to be able to explore all over the world with it and learn good Leave No Trace ethics, which seems less prevalent now unfortunately. I'm sure a combination of reduced natural environments and a heavy amount of targeted advertising/marketing about the "outdoor lifestyle" have encouraged far more people to go out and get lost in nature without having enough respect for the ecosystem they're stepping into.

    Maybe that's me just waxing on poetically though. Time for more coffee.

    I went with the JDF 2.25 LT kit with their LCA pivot subframe/skid plate. Moves the wheels a bit forward as well as outward for better fender clearancing as well as travel. I like how their LCAs cup the CV axle rather than reducing clearance like the Total Chaos or Bajakits LCAs (not that they make a bad product, just wanted to try this option as well)

    Hell yeah brother! That’s where I am going as well. My pivot shows up in a couple weeks. My goal is to throw that on with 37’s by the end of January. Then the hope is next year I’ll get the rest and go to 40’s. Best of luck to you!

    Word, I'm excited to see how yours turns out!

    LT kit as well, or just the pivots for now? I was going to just do the pivots but already had a set of shocks being made for LT so I figured why not.

    When I noticed the biggest difference was when the ATV's hit the market, up till then, the type of people out in the bush seemed to be more respectful of the environment. The ATV'ers come into an area, set up a big group camp, trash the place, then load up their ATV's and depart, leaving their mess behind. I find it distressing, I grew up roaming the east slopes of the Rockies in Western Canada and you used to be able to go out on Crown land and not see anyone for the entire weekend, now many of the places I once roamed unhindered have become party central. Now living in Texas, about the only 4x4 accessible refuge without the crowds close to me is Big Bend Ranch. This has led me to do more backpack camping just to get to areas the are unreachable by the motorized crowd. Not trashing all ATV'ers, I know there are many that are respectful of the land, but it is just my observation.
