I wired it through a switch in the cabin I can turn on and off as I need the camera. I just wonder if the camera will get damaged pointing forward but for the price of it, if it lasts a couple years I’m good.
Attached is a photo of my temporary button.

Try to change your location. Milton had them in stock yesterday at the sale price. But Georgetown showed out of stock at $229.99

They'd bomb down highways with people chilling in the bed with their surfboards. None of the islands are that big so there's no point in owning a sports car there.

With the Ford Bronco online configurator fully functional, I priced one out for shits and giggles. Base 4-door with the smaller engine and no options except a hardtop and the Sasquatch package (34" tires, 4.7 axle ratio, rear locker) stickers for $64,000 out the door after taxes. Keep in mind it isn't quite ready to wheel - you'll still want to add sliders and skids.

    34s on a Ford are rally 35
On gmc 35 would be 38s and dodges use the 37s but there rally 42s

IMO the road to Hana on Maui is the best driving road i've ever been on and probably ever will be on - so many twists and turns and if you bring a tiny miata, holy hell it's a bunch of fun to zip through an 2 hour long drive of nothing but twists and awesome views.

It puts a good fight against the tail of the dragon, because the road to Hana sounds great at 52 miles long and 620 curves. Where the Dragon is about 11 miles with 320 curves.

35" is in the advertising, but the actual Sasquatch pkg. description says "LT315/70 R17" which works out to 34" nominal size. Actual tire could be 33.5-35" dia. depending on brand and model. The benefit of the Sasquatch pkg. isn't in the OEM tires (mud-terrains may be a deathtrap on wet roads anyway), but the upgraded suspension/wheelwell/gearing that can accommodate a 35" tire by design.

But yeah it would be more sensible to wait a few years and pick up a used one. Here's hoping the Bronco doesn't hold its value as well as Jeep Wranglers. :)

Yup, done that route...its fun. The west dumbell end of the island is actually more fun...lots of dirt road on the edge of the cliffs. Most favourite on maui is the road to the top of Haleakuala. Did this in a Chrysler convertible AT rental. I really felt bad for the tranny while racing up the mountain to beat the sunrise and then felt bad for the brakes racing down cuz, just fun and a rental.

Is that US pricing? Canadian configurator shows the base model (480 km range) starting at $90,000, which means minimum $102,000 out the door after taxes: https://rivian.com/configurator/r1t

How will this work when the trail is 3+ hours away? Something like Ardbeg would be out of reach because the Rivian isn't compatible with the Tesla Supercharger in Parry Sound.

    IMG-20120810-01850.jpg
the rental guys know 100% that the breaks are cooked by the time the cars return from the volcano's summit, so no need to feel bad

who said anything about going to Ardbeg in that thing? i'd be doing lighter trails closer to the cottage, at least there i have a way to charge the thing before heading out.
