    Looks like 3 hahaha

But I am tossing around the idea of building my own then wrapping it up around the windows then into a roof rack. kinda like a half exo cage on the rear. As soon as I get the damn air compressor over to my house. So many projects so little time/money during the winter.

Like a weld-together kit or from scratch?
DIY kit from Coastal Offroad (~$500) I hear can be welded with even smaller cheaper welders due to it being 3/16" steel and not thicker 1/4" that seems to require more expensive ones like $900 Hobart 210MVP

I think a 3rd gen 4runner guy made his using the Harbor Freight Titanium 170 or whatever it's called
the green one that's like $200 or less, flux core

Going from an old pre-hf 120V welder to my current Miller 211 at 120V then getting a 220V plug for it I will say that bumpers and sliders and what not up to 1/4” sure can get welded together using cheaper welders at lower voltages. But you just aren’t going to get as good of penetration as with a 220V power source. Flux core works fine too, it just makes a mess with spatter and is harder to control your arc. If you want good welds, you need a good welding machine and preferably shielding gas.

And yes he’s talking about the coastal offroad WIY kit

They hate their outfits and are slightly evil so I wouldn’t put it past them. Luckily we made it through the night without surprises

Any of you guys that have Turd Gens like I do, please do me a favor and crawl under your truck and look at the power steering pump. I just got mine back for the 2nd front main seal/timing cover leaking and that is typically where the oil will show up. I don't even have 30,000 miles on my truck and it is a glorified Camry and has been so babied it is ridiculous. I'm so close to selling it and just running from any new Toyota.

Anyone ever done Tule creek/China dam route over on north side of lake pleasant?
    https://azoffroad.net/tule-creekchina-dam-trail
That's the route I found and instead of making it out and back I think out to 17 after the turnaround point.

Camped at Sheeps Bridge with the girl and dog for Christmas. Few other people were camped up there but we did have the spring to ourselves for a couple hours last night. Saw a white 3rd gen with an AZTW sticker on Seven Springs rd on our way home this afternoon.

Nope, flowing quite well and was very deep for this time of year. My guess is the rain a couple weeks ago is still filtering through.
