I picked up a set of factory Offroad shocks for dirt cheap (only have 50 miles on them), and I have an SR with factory shocks.

Is there enough of a difference between the two that they're worth swapping out?

Edit to add: I do plan on eventually doing a good full suspension lift but I have other stuff going on that's priority.

Depends on your style. There's definitely a difference between the two.

I'm a hunting guide in the winter and wildland firefighter in the summer. I spend a ton of time on highways and off-road. I'm not expecting a big amazing difference, but if there's enough to notice I'll swap em.

Are they the yellow and blue Bilstein shocks? It's real easy to throw the rear shocks on for a comparison.

They're softer. I thought the SR were the blue Hitachi which are stiffer and more road oriented

They're definitely worth swapping out. I had an SR 4x4 and swapped out the shocks asap ... the stock shocks are pretty bad. OR stock shocks are ok (I have an OR now), but still a huge improvement over the SR stockers.

Have a break between clients, I'll swap them out in the next few days. Thanks everyone.
