    Speaking of new trucks, here's my halfway home update. Fuel cap broke after hitting a big bump, another set of big bumps killed the collector gasket, so I've got one hell of an exhaust leak. I've also determined the truck needs to be an inch or so higher since the rear tires are rubbing on the bed sides, and I caught up with @Taco01863 who hooked me up with a bull bar he had lying in his snowbank as a Tacoma world Christmas present! You rock dude! :fistbump:

    On my way to Portlandia area to get one of @Sig45 beautiful cutting boards.

    Sounds like stuff you can easily fix.

    Give ol' Mark a big athletic slap for us.

    Adam....it appears your other thread as been high jacked by the "sky is falling" nonsense about failing starter buttons.

    A lot of super smart people with too much time on their hands. That's 50% of BITOG.

    And too bad you used up the last of your stash. The 2GR likes 0/30

    Yea, not even 300 miles on that oil change. That and I have a couple leftover Hastings oil filters now. Same thread and gasket size as my mower, but are too long (problem I've never had...).

    Get one of these. Cheap at Autozone. Best kind of cap wrench for that cartridge filter housing.

    I have one of these for the Camry and it works for the 3.5L. That and I'm pretty damn sure they take the same filter. Also now this will be the 3rd vehicle I maintain that takes 0w20 so stocking up on oil will be easier... I'm not scared of 0w20 in the Tacoma, in my climate it'll definitely help out in the cold. I will say I just thought the 4.0L was noisy, holy crap the 3.5L makes some odd noises. The rear diff howl is a real thing as well, so weird to call that stuff normal on a new truck!

    Ooo....you got the high dollar one....Mr Fancy Pants. And yes....I'm pretty certain all the 2GRs use the same filter.

    And the DI version makes a lot of weird noises. That injector cleaning cycle is particularly funky.

    @Delta09

    Adamn....another oil option if you want to stay in the 20 family is M1 EP 5/20. It's a heavy 20....scoring a 9 @ 100° C. That's pushing a lite 30.

    Just did an OC on mama's '19 Corolla yesterday with some Valvoline 0/20. But the next one will be M1 EP 5/20 :thumbsup:
