Well it's probably adequate time I make a build thread. It may be a boring thread because it will probably take a long time to get my truck where I'd like to get it as I'm becoming a father here in January 2021. (Very Excited) You never know though maybe things will come quicker eventually. So it's kind of a 2 part build.

The first part is my daily driver build, as this is my only vehicle this is going to be my daily driver build. My direction is a clean TRD themed street build minimal cosmetic modifications to keep a stock look but will still turn heads. Focused mainly on performance and a comfortable ride.

Part two is going to be full long travel baja/trophy truck. It will be a long time to get to that point as I'd like to keep my truck a good DD for 5+ years, my son is going to be my main focus and priority with everything including $$$, and of course probably the main reason... I'm broke, well not really, just not out here big ballin able to buy everything I want. But enough with the boring introduction. Heres the start to my build

The only things needing to be replaced from day 1 bumper filler and grille and drip moulding. If anyone is out there selling a drip moulding lmk I'm still looking.

Most recently I've replaced the "TACO" grille with the stock one. And added a TRD badge from @tacos4cheap

Next mod coming soon is the hood scoop decal from @CBoy808

Thanks man its exciting. I tried the turtle wax brand I believe for the headlight restoration, it worked great I think. The outside cleared up really well I think whats causing the rest of the haziness is from the inside. They were much worse before though

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to anyone keeping up with my little build.

Finally got to see the family and my brother got me some shackles for the new bumper. Digging the look almost full blown mall crawler status. All I need is a hi lift that I won't use... anyways here's what it's lookin like. Might just do one shackle haven't decided yet. :santa2::santa2:

Man it's been awhile since I've updated this whoops. We'll I haven't had a crazy amount of notable mods either but I have had a few.

Life has had a lot going on lately. In the past months I've relocated from San antonio to Austin (technically Pflugerville) stayed with the same job but much better payscale out here :amen:. I had my first Child little boy Leo he was born mid January now he's almost eating solids now which is crazy he's growing up so fast. And most recently actually as of today I got pre-approved for a mortgage loan so if all goes well and we find a good house or new build I will be a homeowner within the next couple months to a year:fingerscrossed:. I have been truly blessed. And I work my ass off so I think I deserve it. Looking back from where I came from I would've never imagined to be buying a house at 23. It's an amazing feeling but doesn't even come close to becoming a father. Anyways enough with my boring life update here's more to my build!

Not much of a mod but I picked up this TRD badge from a member on here not to a Tacoma but it matched my build so why not.
    20210215_002505.jpg

Next up I scored some trd pro rims for a hell of a deal that was actually a bit of a process as the PO got stuck in the mud/snow during our texas snowpocalypse and it left a bunch of streaks and scratches all over a few of the rims. Here's a link to my other thread that is more detailed on how I got them out and made them perrrty again.

I didn't get any pics of the processes but I also picked up a BAMF behind the grille light bracket. Very easy install did it while my baby slept Next to me in the garage

    20210515_161359.jpg

And as of today I finally got my @MESO molle rack setup now I need to strap all my baby gear to it for my ultimate dad status :smokertransformer:
