I ended up getting invited inside for a couple hours, and here are pictures of my truck from the second floor...

    @Taco critter

    Ended up taking my friend's brand new $42,000 Tundra SR5 for an impromptu test drive tonight; When I showed up at their apartment, they'd been drinking all evening. My friend's husband is legally blind and can no longer drive, and she was pretty drunk. Her truck was parked behind the restaurant/apartment building, and she wanted it parked out front where it was in view of the restaurant's CCTV camera. Having had two bears roughly six hours earlier I was the only sober one there, so with the understanding that Pat (the legally blind husband) went with me, I went to move the truck...

    It's a CrewMax, so it has the short bed, but that truck is nowhere near as maneuverable as my Tacoma! Luckily, it had a backup camera and the sensors that beeped if you got too close to anything. This was a brand new 2020 Tundra with less than 1,900 miles on the clock, and what I say? I liked it; However, if I bought a Tundra it would have to be a double cab with either the 6-foot bed or 8-foot bed!

    Even though my one friend is legally blind, he can still see; In his drunken wisdom, he decided to start lobbing snowballs across the street. The first one smacked into the roof of my truck, and it sounded like it hit a lot harder than it did. I kinda glared at my friend and was like "Dude, watch the truck..."

    The second snowball made it across the street, but landed in the snow a couple of feet from the garbage can he was aiming for...

    :cheers: :drunk::facepalm:

    I could never fit a Tundra in my garage, plus l bet you are right about it not being anywhere near as maneuverable as a Tacoma.

    One of the early Tundra's with MT would be pretty cool.

    Yeah, but you couldn't get it with a V8, and I'm told 3.4L Tundras felt underpowered even with the manual...

    Exactly 190hp; I think the last of the 1st Gen Tundras came standard with the 4.0L V6 and 6-speed stick, like the 2nd Gen Tacos...

    I have been pretty happy with MPG on my truck, its honestly not too bad. The only place it does kinda bad is with speeds over 70 with the windows down and sunroof open.

    Thats not too bad, the MT 3rd Gen has 4.30 Gears so high speed driving is not best for MPG.
