Oof I don't like all the subscriptions either. I paid the $5 or whatever for aCar pro a few years back. I forgot I had done so, but I'm glad I'm grandfathered in now.

Weather/temperature plays such a big role, it's impressive. Yesterday morning was around 25° and I got ~17mpg on my commute to work. This morning it was 41° and I got 20.2mpg on my commute.

I have a 19 trd or 6mt. I do have OVtune and am running the "performance" tune. But I find the truck is happiest at a cruising range of 2000-2500rpm.

Experimented with it some. 1000 rpm its no problem, but that's pretty slow. Can't get the shift from 1st to 2nd but all others work if you accelerate to 2500 rpms, shift, back into gear at 2100 rpms. Its way easier in the overdrive gears. I have the V6 with the stock accumulator. If it grinds, stop the attempt. Although brief grinding doesn't hurt, from what I've read. The gears are so strong only prolonged grinding - like 60 seconds- will cause any damage. True or false it gives me peace of mind when teaching how to drive a clutch. Also none of my students have burned the clutch so maybe the accumulator is worthwhile. Rarely try this downshifting, but 2500 seems to be the sweet spot. Its just faster to downshift with the clutch, don't have to wait for the rpms to fall down.

I did the accumulator delete. And I guess the pedal does feel more natural but at the same time it's so minor it's not really worth the trouble.

I dont know man. I could not rev match downshift quickly and smoothly with the accummulator. Without that POS its perfect revmatch 80% of the time.

With the accumulator it felt like I could hit about 50% of my upshifts smoothly and pretty much none or my downshifts.

After the ADM I hit almost all my upshifts unless Im being super lazy and most of my downshifts.

That is true. I think OVtune had a lot to do with the ease of rev match downshifting though as well.

I second that, the ADM makes it much easier to always shift consistently plus feathering the clutch is much easy without the accumulator. The ADM was the first mod I did and it vastly improved the feel of the clutch, with it you always know precisely where the engagement point is

The ADM gives you that complete control of clutch feeling where you are in-charge of doing everything yourself. If you are just looking to mindlessly drive the accumulator is great, it will cover up most mistakes you make and give you a smoother ride. But I personally love the satisfaction of hitting every gear perfect or rowing the gears as quickly as possible and I feel the ADM along with OV tune makes that possible.

I would love to get the chance to drive my truck and an unmodded manual back to back to really tell the difference.
